Damn. Unusual idea. Well executed in my opinion. Not every story and ending can be roses and sunshine and you showed alot of actual flaws and problems many people ignore. I enjoyed your story. It was suspenseful and well written. I thank you for sharing this with us. Stay safe and healthy!

Cannot remember if I left you a review for this yet or not. I really loved your exploration of the true potential of the powers of magic. I also categorically disagree with Hadraniel and his views on God, I still loved the story line. I guess his statements about god and the sad character that was Mayer triggered a lot of your "Christian" readers.

Hope you keep writing. The illustrious governor of the 'People's Republic of California' does not appear ready to surrender his "emergency powers" and I fear we will be in quarantine for a while yet. THAT WAS SO GOOD! I've been looking for a fic that featured a war between muggles and magic folk for awhile. That this fic featured this along with aspects of the occult too made for quite a fantastic read. A short, but sweet fic. I loved the ending, very cool indeed.

Absolutely loved this story, from beginning to end.

Loved your interpretation of magic in the HP universe, loved how you wrote the characters, and loved the fight scenes. I loved the little twist with Voldemort at the end, and how he ended up being right. I loved the amount of romance and lemon in the story, which was pretty wholesome in my opinion (even if the lemons were minimal.)

Lately, I've been finding a lot of HP fics, where it bashes Dumbledore and the Weasleys. While I don't necessarily hate those fics, it's honestly a nice change of pace to read the story without those extreme bashing. In this case, while you did bash Dumbledore to a certain extent, it was reasonable, and even Dumbledore himself admitted his own flaws, and in the end, wished to make up for it.

As warned by some people on reddit, this story did get pretty dark, but it was reasonably dark in my opinion, given the nature of the Death Eaters, as well as the "new villains." Speaking of the new villains, it was quite unexpected, and it did make the story that much more grim. Still though, it was arguably pretty realistic, since at some point I suppose it would've happened, especially given the situation with Voldemort.

Overall, I would give this story a 9/10, since I was especially impressed at all of the "military writing." That didn't seem easy to do.

OK I'll be honest... I did skip most of the story after the muggles attacked. It's not that it wasn't good writing, I just couldn't bear more sorrow and pain. Funny that considering that I love revenge stories. I guess it's different when it's the main characters who suffer. Never was any good with that. Anyway...
