Finally got around to reading this story... can't make it any any further. These twelve year olds act more like extremely horny sixteen year olds, and all of their relationships feel really superficial and forced. Really getting tired of reading about preteens constantly eyefucking each other while you blabber on about how it's not a soulbond fic despite having all of the elements of one.

So the snake thinks Brazilians speak Spanish? Lol

I wish you'd finish the story, and it seems like a soulmate fic to me.

This is a really good story. Too bad it hasn’t been added to in a long time, but I won’t give up hope.

It has been FOREVER! Dude, won’t ya finish or at least update this?! It kills me read it all the time just to get “Harry and Ron” and Ginny all messup! Do something please. Cheers on the storyline.

Hope you come back to this one day! One of the best FemHarry stories I've read. Though the constant suffering from 2nd year on with few happy moments did start getting a little exhausting near the end, poor Harry just can't seem to catch a break. But still phenomenal and had me wanting more. Though considering it's been 6 years I'm not optimistic, but one can hope!

The romance in this story is front-loaded to an insane degree. Maybe I’m just too sensitive, but it feels like Harry, an 11 year old girl, is sort of proto-lusting after Ginny, a 10 year old girl. What annoys me about that is that I feel like I don’t get to enjoy reading about the beginning of their relationship, because they have this magical connection from when they were prepubescent children.

I get that, because you keep saying it, this is not a soul bond fic, but the fact that you keep writing that in your author’s notes tells me that you may not be grasping why people keep asking if it is. To put it simply, if this were a soul bond fic, would the events be playing out in a meaningfully different manner?

Harry meets Ginny and instantly feels this super strong connection. She then uses this one meeting as her true moment of happiness that will protect her mind from the horcrux. I assume that your response to this statement would go something like, “Harry is an abused child who has never known kindness like that before so it affected her deeply,” but the problem is that Hagrid was extremely kind to her a whole month before hand. Is the difference that she doesn’t have the hots for Hagrid? That’s weird for an eleven year old. She even uses the owl that she cried when Hagrid got it for her to send letters to Ginny. And why is she sending “almost daily” letters to a girl she met one time? It’s almost like there is some kind of supernatural force that exists between them that is forcing them together regardless of sense or reason. I’m speaking, of course, not of the soul bond, but of hamfisted writing.

Wouldn’t it be better to just spend less time on the first few years and let the characters mature before throwing them headfirst into the chosen pairing? Or let characters actually fumble and make mistakes and have fun with their first few relationships before they settle down with their One True Love?

I’m not going to quit reading or anything, because I love fluff (which I was promised a lot of next chapter), and more importantly I’m hoping that my fears about the direction this is heading are greatly exaggerated.

I saw a prompt on tumblr for a fem!HarryxGinny so I've been searching and as soon as I clicked on yours and saw 450k bloody words, I nearly cried. Amazing so far

I think Draco was my favorite character this chapter. I also loved Dumbledore and Harry and Ginny of course. I especially loved the easy and humorous banter between the two girls. God I hope that Dumbledore explanations to the students will be. convincing.

OMG...

I hope the Dursleys will redeem themselves one day.
