Today, which happens to be a very nice day, is a splendid day to tell you about DawnFire and Silver Huntress. They live in a kingdom named Jhomatu (j-ho-MA-too). In this kingdom, there are little purple sparkles that soar through the sky. The people of Jhomatu call these faeries. Faeries are incredible creatures, who fly about and sing songs about watching flowers grow. Faeries particularly enjoy flying by a certain window in the castle by the hill, as they are always sure to hear a nice story or two from the two fair maidens who live beyond the window, known only as DawnFire and SilverHuntress.

NOTES:

July 30, 2018: I think by now I (DawnFire) can safely say that this profile is primarily nostalgic. However: if all goes well, Al Prewett will have the edited version (all eight chapters) put up soon, as well as probably a note on how the rest of it would have gone. Fawn Silver may or may not get similar treatment (the note, at any rate). I do have a lot of scenes for both stories which were written for future installments; those might get posted as well? We'll see. However, given that my writing style has changed quite a bit and I'm mostly writing different stories these days...it's unlikely that Al Prewett will see much new writing, though Fawn Silver might. Maybe. Seeing as it's 2018 now, it's probably time to face that.

Thank you to everyone who read my stories here or reads them now. I had a wonderful time writing for you and reading your reviews. Thank you for giving me such a good experience here. I wish you much good fiction in your future.

December 4, 2012: Hello all! This is DawnFire, and I'm extremely excited to announce that Al Prewett is back! That is, I've finally started to put up the edited version! Updates will happen on a not so regular schedule, seeing as the story is still in progress (and the holidays are coming up, too), but they will be happening again, so...enjoy!

April 24, 2012: Hello all! Sorry that this is the first update of sorts in a while. I (DawnFire) just wanted to let you all know that neither Fawn Silver nor Al Prewett has been abandoned, and neither will be abandoned. I'm working on both right now, albeit a little slowly. (For my explanation, I offer one word: school. Fortunately, that ends mid-May. I will try to update before then, though, if I can...)

July 9, 2011: DawnFire has added quotes to the beginnings of each chapter of Fawn Silver. Also, SilverHuntress is taking a break from fanfiction.

May 4, 2010: First Hobbit story up...it's really either really early LotR or very late Hobbit, but...I put it in Hobbit.

April 4, 2010: The very first Lord of the Rings story is up!

March 8, 2010: Check Al Prewett (chapter 8 slot) for a change in editing/posting plans. The Fawn Silver light edit is finished, and the next chapter is coming.

January 16, 2010: Cause and Effect has been edited slightly and re-posted. Changes are in the wording of the prophecy, which is now accurate, and in the a/n and formatting.

Disclaimer: All of our work is fan fiction, and is in no way trying to take away from the original stories they are based off of. Credit must be given where credit is due, and so far that is to JK Rowling for our Harry Potter stories, and JRR Tolkien for the Lord of the Rings story and the Hobbit story. If there are any other works used in individual stories, they will be cited as needed. On that note, we do own whatever is not recognizable as canon.

A Harry Potter fanfic.

The Fawn Silver Trilogy covers all of Harry's seven years at Hogwarts and is canon-compliant. Fawn Silver has no idea where she comes from. The most important details of her past (who she is, who her parents are, where she was born) are a mystery to everyone, Fawn herself included. In 1981 she accepts a task: to protect Harry Potter. For 10 years, that task takes precedence over everything else, over every other promise she's made. But then she begins to see things from far in the past, too far back to be memories...

Al Prewett, Marauder in Disguise

A Harry Potter fanfic.

Series to cover from Marauders' first year to Harry Potter's seventh year. Decidedly AU, although based extremely closely on canon. The first-years of 1971 enter Hogwarts at the rising of a storm. As Lord Voldemort gains power, the time nears when they will have to choose their sides, and choose them wisely. On the eve of September 1st, 1971, four first-years meet and form a long-lasting friendship. Two with questionable sanity, two with secrets, (and later, one with an uncanny knack for putting clues together), all of them mischievous...Hogwarts doesn't stand a chance.

UPCOMING ATTRACTIONS (ie, STORIES) (no longer relevant, left for nostalgia. Sorry!):

-Sherlock/[Elementary]/[Doctor Who: A light-hearted exploration of various ways John Watson could have been female and the issues with Joan Watson as seen in the Elementary trailers (before it aired). Not meant to offend, just amuse and express an opinion. Status: Almost ready to post, mainly just needs some light editing.

-Doctor Who/Torchwood: An AU of "Tooth and Claw", wherein Captain Jack Harkness remembers some important details about the founding of Torchwood and rejoins the Doctor and Rose. Not a typical 'Season 2 plus Jack' story by any means. Status: Being written--there are currently (Nov. 1, 2012) two half-written chapters, half of an Avengers crossover chapter--long story--and a lot of ideas. Will start to be posted once some chapters are finished.
