To me, FF is the place where play is okay - where the guy gets to kiss the girl, the hero sometimes dies (or doesn't), the sex is as dirty as you like and takes as long as you want... Points of view shift and reality bends like refracted light.

I'm an author in real life with a series that at this point takes most of my time (the bestselling Erin Solomon mysteries, the first of which is ALL THE BLUE-EYED ANGELS, if you guys feel like giving it a gander), so I unfortunately don't have much time to write fic anymore. Unfortunately, that means that right now the MENTALIST and LIE TO ME fics that I started some time ago may go unfinished... I'm really, so sorry about that. Until someone figures out how to add more hours to the day, though, I'm not sure that I'll be able to remedy it anytime soon. I still come here frequently to read, however, and hope that at some point I'll be able to return to complete my WIPs. In the meantime, though, I'm here lurking, reviewing, and grateful to all those fantastic fic writers who continue to weave tales that endlessly inspire and entertain.

THE WAR IN THE WOODS - Complete
Set at the end of season 3: Sweets decides the team needs to re-bond, so he signs everyone up for an Outward Bound course. Booth without a gun, Cam without clean underthings, and Bones without... well, bones. B/B, H/A.

THE KILLER IN THE CLASSROOM - Complete
Set immediately following THE WAR IN THE WOODS: Canon up to season 4. Brennan goes undercover teaching in a graduate writing program to lure a serial killer out of hiding. B/B, established relationship.

THE MURDER IN THE MARRIAGE - Complete
Set a few months following KILLER IN THE CLASSROOM: When KitC's TJ Wright begins having questions about his father's murder, he comes to DC to ask for Brennan's help. Meanwhile, a series of children's abduction/murders reveals an FBI cover-up that puts everyone in danger, and could shake Booth's faith in his country to the core.

THE APPRENTICE ON THE ISLAND - Complete
When a completed Gormogon skeleton is found by a friend of Angela's on a remote island off the coast of Maine, the team at the Jeffersonian - including our old friend Zack - is brought in to authenticate the find. THE APPRENTICE finds Booth and Brennan still coming to terms with revelations brought to light in MitM, Sweets struggling with his own physical recovery, and a seven-months-pregnant Angela bound and determined to restore the team's spirits and heal old wounds. Plus, Zack's back - and he's got a smokin' hot girlfriend who may or may not be a homicidal nymphomaniac.
