Note- If you don't see a pairing in either the liked or disliked section, then that means I don't dislike the pairing but its not one of my favorites either. Top 20 favorite fictional universes- #1- J.R.R. Tolkien's Legendarium The fantastic universe created by J.R.R. Tolkien who is one hell of a genius. The world here is called Arda. All the universes based on J.R.R. Tolkien's Legendarium are included on this spot. All the books are amazing. The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings and The Silmarilion are masterpieces while all the other books like The Children of Hurin, Unfinished Tales and The History of Middle-Earth and stories like The Fall of Gondolin, Beren and Luthien and The Tale of Aragorn and Arwen flesh out this universe even more. This universe has a rich history. It has its own creation, its God who is called Eru Iluvatar, its angels who are the Valar and Maiar, its Devil who is Melkor/Morgoth, its own heroes among elves, men and dwarves and its own villains amongst the goblins, orcs and the Uruk-hai. The movie adaptations are awesome too. Mainly the Peter Jackson adaptations. I think as movies, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy is perfect while as adaptations, the movies are good. I imagine it as an alternate Arda. The Hobbit Trilogy are great as movies and okay as adaptations. I think there are some things that could be improved in them but I enjoy them too. The old animated movies are great too. The video games are fun. I love The Lord of the Rings Online as we delve deep into the lore in that. Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor and Middle Earth: Shadow of War mess with Tolkien lore a lot but are enjoyable. There are several other great games based on Tolkien's works. My stance on the upcoming LOTR TV series is neutral but I hope Amazon Studios make an awesome series out of it. It is reported that the series will focus on a young Aragorn. That's great news for me because he is my favorite character in The Lord of the Rings and one of my favorite characters in the overall lore. So this was my most favorite fictional universe. Favorite Characters- Books- Turin Turambar, Beren, Luthien, Feanor, Finrod Felagund, Celebrimbor, Glorfindel, Fingolfin, Hurin, Tuor, Huan, Elendil, Gil-galad, Isildur, Cirdan the Shipwright, Melkor/Morgoth, Mairon/Sauron, Olorin/Gandalf the Grey/Gandalf the White, Earendil, Elwing, Elrond, Galadriel, Celeborn, Curumo/Saruman the White, Bilbo Baggins, Thranduil, Thorin II Oakenshield, Gollum, Aragorn II Elessar, Legolas, Gimli, Boromir, Faramir, Frodo Baggins, Samwise Gamgee, Meriadoc 'Merry' Brandybuck, Peregrin 'Pippin' Took, Denethor, Theoden, Eowyn, Eomer, Arwen, Bard, Smaug Movies- Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Gandalf the Grey/Gandalf the White, Boromir, Faramir, Eowyn, Eomer, Theoden, Gollum, Bilbo Baggins, Thorin II Oakenshield, Balin, Elrond, Arwen, Galadriel, Saruman the White, Frodo Baggins, Samwise Gamgee, Meriadoc 'Merry' Brandybuck, Peregrin 'Pippin' Took, Bard, Thranduil, Fili, Kili, Azog the Defiler, Tauriel, Smaug Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Books- Well, in the books, there is no pairing that I actually dislike. But the pairings I like most are- Beren/Luthien- Such an amazing pairing. Loved them a lot. What's there to not like? Classical fairy tail pairing. Beren is ready to take out a Silmaril from Morgoth's crown to prove his love for her to her father. She loves him so much that she actually follows him and helps him in the task. And when he dies, she too dies of grief and manages to move Mandos himself to give them both a 2nd life, albeit a mortal one so that they can both live happily ever after to the end of their days. Aragorn/Arwen- Another equally amazing pairing. Arwen pledges her hand to Aragorn in marriage and renounces her elven lineage for him and accepts death. And when he became King of the Reunited Kingdom, they married and lived happily for a long time. When he died, she too died of grief a year later. Movies- Aragorn/Arwen- In the movies too, they are both amazing. Her memory is what keeps him going till the end. And even though she is about to leave Middle-Earth, let's not forget that she had hope and she only started leaving when Lord Elrond convinced her that there is no hope. And even then, she came back and the two were together in the end. Faramir/Eowyn- We did not see much of them but I liked the little vibe they had in their scene in the Extended Edition of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. Legolas/Tauriel- The two would have made sense. They have been allies for years. He has feelings for her and the two had good chemistry. And it could have been a tragic love story with her death turning Legolas into the kind of person he was in the LOTR movies. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Books- No pairing I dislike in the books. Movies- Frodo Baggins/Samwise Gamgee- They are bros forever. How the hell can anyone make them lovers? That's an insult to the very concept of bromance. #2- Marvel Universe First of all, rest in peace Stan 'The Man' Lee. We will all miss you a lot for how you changed the comics but more importantly, the kind of person you were. You will always be in our hearts. I love Marvel a lot. All the universes based on Marvel are included on this spot. The comics are of course amazing(mostly). My favorite Marvel Universe in comics is Earth-616. I love the characters- especially Spider-Man. What I love so much about Marvel is that they're realistic to an extent. The Avengers are an awesome team. Love the genuine friendship between the team. I also love the cosmic characters and all other big characters like the Skyfathers. There's a lot of lore in Marvel, especially on Thor's side. I also enjoy their big crossover storylines. The favorite ones are The Infinity Gauntlet, Infinity, Civil War, Avengers vs. X-Men and Born Again. Marvel Cinematic Universe is a wonderful adaptation of the comics. They have 19 movies that are good, great or awesome, some awesome TV series on ABC, some dark and awesome(mostly) TV series on Netflix and another great one on Hulu. This universe is just like the comics. You get a comic-book vibe from this cinematic universe. My only big complaint with MCU is the Bruce/Natasha relationship but they aren't focusing on it much right now so hopefully, its written off. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. deserves to be MU's flagship show. All the 5 seasons were amazing and I got attached to all the characters. Excited for Season 6. Agent Carter was really good but they cancelled it unfortunately. Inhumans was terribly written so no hope for it. Iron Fist Season 1 was average but with Scott Buck fired, they managed to redeem it in Season 2. I still can't wrap my head around the fact that it was cancelled right when it got good. I really want The Defenders to get a Season 2 with Punisher in it. Wish that happens. But now I think it can't after the recent cancellations. Daredevil Seasons 1, 2 and 3, Jessica Jones Season 1 and The Punisher Season 1 are the best seasons of comic book shows. It sucks that Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Daredevil, Punisher and even Jessica Jones (after Season 3 airs) got cancelled. But I hope Disney does renew them all sometime. Infinity War was an amazing and epic penultimate episode to this Universe after 10 years of its debut with Iron Man. The true conclusion was Avengers: Endgame. And it was an amazing, epic and perfect conclusion to the Infinity Saga. X-Men movie series has its own ups and downs. The bad movies are X-Men: The Last Stand, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, X-Men: Apocalypse and X-Men: Dark Phoenix. X-Men: The Last Stand is not too bad though. They should have just done one storyline though instead of two. But the others are awesome, especially Logan. I guess the Deadpool movies are part of this universe too. Don't know about Legion but it can be a part of this too. Unfortunately, this series went out with a whimper as X-Men: Dark Phoenix was pathetic. So X-Men: Days of Future Past and Logan are both amazing, sensible endings to this series for me. The two Spider-Man series were fine too(mostly). The first two Blade movies were cool. I also love the Punisher movie starring Thomas Jane. Fantastic Four and all other Marvel movies by Fox suck. The only good Marvel series by them is X-Men as you know, though they screwed it in the end. The animated shows are fine. You know my favorite ones if you've read what I wrote above. Same goes for games. The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is a very amazing show though and I love it with a passion as it used so many iconic storylines from the comics. Still bitter that they replaced it with the very inferior Avengers Assemble. So this was what I have to say about Marvel. Love their romance a lot. So much fun to watch. Daredevil/Elektra- Poor tortured pairing. Too much pain and love at the same time. Very interesting. Spider-Man/Gwen Stacy- Loved them together a lot. I was very sad when she died. She was nice. Spider-Man/Mary Jane- Just like them a lot. Due to the fact that she stayed by his side during Gwen's death even when he lashed out at her. Gambit/Rogue- Constant chase and drama but no melodrama. Cursed love. Mr. Fantastic/Invisible Woman- I like how they save the world constantly and still work together like a family. Really sweet. Cyclops/Jean Grey- A woman grappling with her immense power while a man who can never control his. They have known each other since their teenage years. When not tainted by death and destruction, it is a good relationship. Wolverine/Storm- I loved their on/off relationship. Daredevil/Black Widow- This was fun. Really fun. Considering they hooked up as civilians first. Winter Soldier/Black Widow- Both forced to kill by organizations. Liked this one a lot. Luke Cage/Jessica Jones- They moved past their differences and loved each other always. They always stood by each other during hard times. And how Luke stopped cursing at Jessica's request for their daughter is sweet. Marvel Cinematic Universe- Steve Rogers/Peggy Carter- The two grew to respect and trust each other and it became something good. The way it ended was tragic. He was frozen and thought dead while she moved on, grew old and died eventually. Very tragic love story. But while I liked them getting their happy ending, it was a betrayal of Steve's character arc so not a fan of them getting together. Peggy was best as a starter romance for Steve. Steve Rogers/Sharon Carter- I like the vibe they have so far. They are a good pairing in the comics and they have good chemistry here in the MCU. A lot of unexplored territory between these 2. I think they can make it work. Now while I didn't like how it started, with them kissing right after Peggy's funeral, I'd support it if its done better. Steve Rogers/Natasha Romanoff- While right now, they are great friends, I think they can be a thing. Their scenes in Captain America: The Winter Soldier were pretty sexy. I think they would have made a good couple. Bucky Barnes/Natasha Romanoff- This would be an interesting pairing. They are already a great match in the comics. Here too, they were forced to become killers by evil organizations and are now on a path to redemption. I hope Romanoff survives Avengers 4 and the 2 actually get together as they would be a great match. Like Stand with Ward and Queen and Bl4ckHunter have said, these two are the Oliver Queen/Sara Lance of the MCU. Tony Stark/Pepper Potts- Nice pairing with a romantic comedy vibe. Of course Stark can be a pain in the ass sometimes but its still good in my opinion. And I love their daughter Morgan so much. She was adorable. And they at least got 5 years of peace together before Tony sacrificed himself to save everyone from Thanos. Matt Murdock/Elektra Natchios- Here too, poor tortured pairing. The two understand each other the most but can't be with each other due to their differing viewpoints. Elektra believes in extremes and goes to extremes while Matt has a moral compass and exercises restraint. But they have a really good dynamic and like Stand with Ward and Queen and Bl4ckHunter have said, these 2 are Oliver Queen/Sara Lance and Oliver Queen/Helena Bertinelli to the extreme. Matt Murdock/Jessica Jones- They had a fun dynamic. It would have good to see something more between them. Matt Murdock/Natasha Romanoff- I know they haven't met in the MCU but I still find the idea of their relationship in the MCU intriguing. Partly due to their romance in my own fanfiction series- "The Devil and The Arrow Trilogy." Luke Cage/Jessica Jones- It's a little weird here as Jessica killed Luke's wife under mind-control but they have a good dynamic and I enjoyed them a lot in Jessica Jones Season 1. They did end up mending their relationship a little bit in The Defenders and are now friends again. Let's see if they get together again. Scott Lang/Hope van Dyne- Nice dynamic between the 2. I mean of course he gets on her nerves sometimes but it is still fun. Bruce Banner/Betty Ross- These 2 truly care about each other and I personally think they are meant for each other. But sadly, Betty hasn't been brought back since The Incredible Hulk. Stephen Strange/Christine Palmer- Stephen did treat her like crap in the beginning but later when he learned humility, he tried to make amends and I would like to see them together again. Danny Rand/Colleen Wing- Danny was raised in K'un-L'un while Colleen was raised by The Hand. They trusted and respected each other. When he found out she worked for The Hand, he turned his back on her while she tried to convince him that they were not bad. Then they betrayed her and the 2 saved each other. I think they are a good pairing. Leo Fitz/Jemma Simmons(FitzSimmons)- Two lab geeks who have known each other for a long time and are the closest of friends. Their pairing is the heart of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Their chemistry and dynamic is so amazing. And I personally think this is the best pairing in the entire MCU. Lance Hunter/Bobbi Morse- This is a very good case of "You can't live with 'em. You can't live without 'em." The pairing was very nicely done and their dynamic was always fun to watch. Sure, Hunter can be a jackass at times and Bobbi was not completely honest at times but it was still awesome. Thor Odinson/Valkyire- I liked their dynamic in Thor: Ragnarok and I think they are 2 warriors with a lot of respect for each other. I would love to see them become something more. Thor Odinson/Sif- These two have known each other for a long time and care about each other as friends but can be something more if they want. Peter Parker/Wanda Maximoff- The youngest Avengers and both have suffered terrible losses in their lives. If Peter is a bit older, this pairing can work wonders. Peter Parker/Michelle Jones- I wasn't sure about them in the first movie but they won me over in Spider-Man: Far From Home. X-Men Series- Scott Summers/Jean Grey- Same as comics. And the fact that it is pre-established makes it better. Logan Howlett/Ororo Munroe- I prefer this to Logan/Jean and I would have loved it if they did this in the movies. But unfortunately, the movies only gave this pairing one deleted scene. Logan Howlett/Jean Grey- She is one of the two viable romantic options for Logan in my opinion and if she was not engaged to Scott, the two can happen. Charles Xavier/Moira MacTaggert- I liked the dynamic between them in both X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Apocalypse. They are a good match in my opinion. Wade Wilson/Vanessa- Literally one of the sexiest things I have ever seen in my life. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Comics- Quicksilver/Scarlet Witch(Ultimate Universe)- Ugggh! Seriously?! Ugggh! What were the writers thinking? They are brother and sister. Seriously?! What was this shit?! Hulk/She-Hulk- Once again. Incest! The relationship was to justify the existence of the Hulk gang. Captain Marvel/Marcus- Oh boy! This was some weird shit. Notoriously awful. Basically, we are made to believe they are in love and then it is revealed he mind-controlled and raped her and impregnated her with- himself?! Oh boy! Magneto/Rogue- He married his daughter's friend because she told her friend to marry him? What the hell is this? Norman Osborn/Gwen Stacy- Seriously?! They ruined the Peter/Gwen relationship and Gwen's character with this stupid reveal. And she even gave birth to twins! Who makes up these weird storylines? Marvel Cinematic Universe- Bruce Banner/Natasha Romanoff(Brutasha)- Totally forced and came out of nowhere. I think this pairing existed only to have some romance in the movie. This is the worst relationship in the MCU movies and they should end it quickly. They don't even have any romantic chemistry with each other. I loved Thor: Ragnarok a lot but the one scene I did not like was when video footage of Natasha is what calms Hulk down and reverts him to Banner. Avengers: Infinity War was one hell of an amazing movie but the one small part of a scene I didn't like was when we were reminded of their relationship. Honestly, they should stop forcing it down our throats and just end it quickly because it is forced, it came out of nowhere and it makes no sense. Grant Ward/Skye- Mainly because he is a psychopath but I don't really understand what he saw in her. Sure, she is a great, hard-working person and all but she doesn't seem like his type. Steve Rogers/Bucky Barnes(Stucky)- Same as Frodo/Sam in LOTR. Making them lovers insults the very concept of bromance. X-Men Series- Logan Howlett/Rogue- They have a father/daughter relationship. I don't see why anyone would think of them as lovers. #3- DC Universe DC comes third. All universes based on DC are included on this spot. The comics are awesome(mostly). Love the old ones too. They were fun to read. My favorite character here is Batman but there are many others I like too. The Justice League is an awesome team too. Their mostly working relationship is actually good. I like this Universe because of its overpowered characters and the extremes it deals in. So I like DC for the very opposite reasons of why I like Marvel. That's interesting. Not a huge fan of New 52 but it was fine. Rebirth Universe is great(mostly). My favorite storylines are- Crisis on Infinite Earths, Final Crisis, Flashpoint, Batman: A Death in the Family and Watchmen. The Dark Knight Trilogy was an awesome adaptation of Batman. It was realistic but the characters were true to the comics. Christian Bale was amazing as Batman. Also loved Heath Ledger as Joker. This is the only complete superhero movie series so far. Arrowverse has many ups and downs. It has some really awesome seasons- Arrow Season 1, Arrow Season 2, The Flash Season 1, The Flash Season 2, Arrow Season 5 and DC's Legends of Tomorrow Season 2. But it also has some really god awful seasons- Arrow Season 4, Supergirl Season 1, Supergirl Season 2, The Flash Season 4, Arrow Season 6 and DC's Legends of Tomorrow Season 4(Season 4 is cursed). Their problem is they try to make their shows into a soap-opera a lot and give us bad romantic relationships. The good relationships are always ditched in favor of the bad ones or less good ones. But recently, I have given up on the entire Arrowverse. Arrow has been ruined by the fact that in the future, Star City is a wasteland and Oliver is dead so its Felicity and the Canaries trying to save it. William is just a dull piece of propaganda. But I do like Mia. But I find it infuriating that none of Oliver's kids are using his surname and the fact that he will die in the crisis while failing in his mission- saving his city. I will still watch the last season but only because of a story idea I have that requires me to watch it. Really this show should have ended at Season 5 now. Just change the cliffhanger ending to a complete one and the end. Flash is garbage after Season 2. I hate the WestAllen pairing with a passion but that's what they focus on instead of the plot. And the version of Iris in this show is one of the worst characters ever. Plus, the villains just keep getting more and more underwhelming and Barry is also made out to be the bad guy even when he is right. I'm not watching new seasons of this show now. Supergirl mostly focused on propaganda instead of telling a good story and I stopped watching it after Season 3. The only reason I will rewatch it is for story ideas. Legends of Tomorrow used to be good but now it is really horrible and boring. I didn't even finish Season 4. The characters that got me into the show were Sara, Snart, Mick, Jax and Stein. Now Snart and Stein are dead, Jax is gone, Sara is ruined and nothing more than a piece of propaganda, and Mick is just there. I love Constantine as well but even he couldn't save this season. Batwoman's trailers already scream propaganda so I'm not going to watch it. Smallville was awesome. Loved Tom Welling as Superman. I also liked how they introduced various characters from DC mythos later, especially Green Arrow and Bart Allen. It was awesome. But the Seasons 6 and 7 and to an extent, 8 went downhill due to being too soap-opery. And the imagination of the writers exceeded the show's budget, which is not a good thing for the show. Still, I believe that the show overall had a satisfying ending. If only Welling wore the suit. Still, it was a very good show and a great retelling of Superman's origins and is much better than the garbage shows DC has nowadays. Gotham was a great show. Nice take on what went down in the city before Bruce Wayne became Batman. Young Gordon is a great character in it. Also love the origin stories of different villains. But it made GCPD too competent later, thus failing in its main goal- showing that the city needs Batman. And let's not talk about Selina's character assassination. DC Extended Universe was a mixed bag but now it is pretty good and I have high hopes for its future. The great movies are Man of Steel, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Shazam! BvS was average with some good stuff and some bad stuff. Suicide Squad and Justice League were terrible IMHO. But like I said, the future looks bright. The Michael Keaton Batman movies and the 1st 2 Christopher Reeves Superman movies were nice. Their animated stuff is awesome. DC Animated Universe rocks. Love how those animated shows are connected together. They're all some great television. The new shows are fun too. Young Justice was a delight. My favorite DC games are Batman: Arkham Series and Injustice Series. Both of them have their own lore. Also love DC Universe Online. So this is what I have to say about DC. Favorite Characters- Comics- Batman, Flash(Barry Allen), Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, Green Lantern(Hal Jordan), Superman, Martian Manhunter, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Nightwing, Robin(Tim Drake), Batgirl/Oracle, Shazam, Starfire, Raven, Flash(Jay Garrick), Kid Flash, Impulse, Catwoman, Black Canary(Dinah Laurel Lance), Zatanna Zatara, John Constantine, Green Lantern(Kyle Rayner), Supergirl, Jonah Hex, Arsenal, Doctor Fate, Phantom Stranger, Rorschach I, Joker, Lex Luthor, Darkseid, General Zod, Reverse-Flash, Deathstroke, Zoom, Posion Ivy, Harley Quinn, Sinestro, Brainiac, Black Adam, Ra's al Ghul, Scarecrow, Two-Face, Vandal Savage, Doomsday, Anti-Monitor, Ozymandias, Riddler, Captain Cold, Bane, Gorilla Grodd, Cheshire Cat, The Penguin DC Animated Universe- Batman(Bruce Wayne), Flash, Wonder Woman, Superman, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Nightwing/Robin(Dick Grayson), Batman(Terry McGinnis), Robin(Tim Drake), Batgirl, Hawkgirl, Supergirl, Zatanna Zatara, Booster Gold, Captain Marvel, Joker, Darkseid, Lex Luthor, Penguin, Harley Quinn, Two-Face, Posion Ivy, Riddler, Mr. Freeze, Bane, Ra's al Ghul, Clayface, Brainiac Arrowverse- Oliver Queen, Sara Lance, Earth-1 Laurel Lance, Earth-2 Laurel Lance, Roy Harper, Thea Queen, Nyssa al Ghul, Barry Allen, Cisco Ramon, Caitlin Snow, Joe West, Earth-2 Harrison 'Harry' Wells, John Constantine, Earth-1 Leonard Snart, Mick Rory, Lena Luthor, Earth-X Leonard 'Leo' Snart, Ray Palmer, Martin Stein, Jefferson Jackson, Kara Danvers, Alex Danvers, Winn Schott, J'onn J'onnz, Adrian Chase, Slade Wilson, Malcolm Merlyn, Eobard Thawne, Earth-2 Hunter Zolomon Smallville- Clark Kent, Oliver Queen, Lex Luthor, Lionel Luthor, Lois Lane, Chloe Sullivan, Tess Mercer, Jonathan Kent, Martha Kent, Brainiac, Zod, Davis Bloome/Doomsday, Bart Allen DC Extended Universe- Clark Kent, Diana Prince, Steve Trevor, General Zod, Arthur Curry, Mera, Lois Lane Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Comics- Batman/Catwoman- This one is awesome. She appeals to his inner bad boy and shows him that it is okay to cut loose once in a while. Still pissed they didn't get married in Batman#50. Green Arrow/Black Canary- This is a classic couple. Liked their love you/hate you relationship a lot which eventually blossomed into love. I was glad they got married. I am pissed at what they did to the relationship in DC Rebirth. Hawkman/Hawkgirl- So romantic right? They are in love, they are killed, they are reborn, they find each other and love each other again, they are killed again. Very tragic. Nightwing/Batgirl- Their connection can never be broken. They go on to other relationships but always come back to each other. Nightwing/Huntress- Nightwing is definitely a good influence on Huntress even though she does not show much restraint. Superman/Lois Lane- They are the reason superheroes even have love interests. I find them good mostly. Sometimes of course, Superman is the worst boyfriends while other times Lois is the worst girlfriend but mostly they are good. Flash(Barry Allen)/Iris West- This one is a good love story in the comics. I like them. DC Animated Universe- Batman/Wonder Woman(WonderBat)- This one is my favorite relationship in the DCAU. The 2 respect each other. I also liked the part where she kissed him. Superman/Lois Lane- They are a classic couple here too. Nightwing/Batgirl- They are great everywhere. Green Arrow/Black Canary- I like them in the comics. I like them here. They are so good. Arrowverse- Oliver Queen/Sara Lance(CanArrow)- These 2 love, respect and understand each other the best. They have a connection with each other as they were on Lian Yu together for a year and both have gone through a lot which changed them. The 2 also have the best chemistry. The only reason they weren't together was because the darkness in Sara almost consumed her. But they don't have that problem now so they can be together. Oliver Queen/Nyssa al Ghul(Olyssa)- Don't even give the argument that she is a lesbian. It hasn't been confirmed in the show. She could be a bisexual for all we know. Plus, this is fanfiction. People turn straight characters into gay or lesbian or bisexual. These 2 have a lot in common, are both warriors, are dedicated to protecting those they love and use excessive force for that. They would be a good match. Oliver Queen/Helena Bertinelli- They had good chemistry. However, Helena was revealed to be a psychopath later. But in 'Birds of Prey', she wanted to redeem herself so it would have been good to see a relationship between them after that. Oliver Queen/Kara Danvers(Kariver)- These 2 have different personalities and outlooks on life but they have a lot in common. The losses they have suffered, their survivor's guilt, their positions on their Earths. They also have a good connection and good chemistry. If Kara is less self-righteous, it would work. Barry Allen/Patty Spivot(Spallen)- Lots and lots of chemistry and they have a lot in common. Both are absolute geeks and have some darkness within themselves due to the deaths of a parent. A shame they had to write her off. Barry Allen/Caitlin Snow(SnowBarry)- Lots of unexplored chemistry. They have a connection. There are moments in 'Things You Can't Outrun' and 'Crazy For You' when we think they can get together. The only reason they don't get together is because Barry is obsessed with Iris. Barry Allen/Kara Danvers(SuperFlash)- They have a lot of chemistry, superpowers, similar personalities and both were raised by people who were not biologically related to them because they both lost their biological family at an early age. And they always smile when they are with each other. If allowed, they could be the best power couple, provided Kara gets less self-righteous. Barry Allen/Felicity Smoak(Barricity)- This was a great relationship. I loved it in 'The Scientist', 'Three Ghosts' and 'Going Rogue'. They had a lot of chemistry and a lot in common, like being geeks and also having unrequited love. Unfortunately, the writers decided to make Iris and Oliver return the affection even though it made no sense and they butchered Felicity in Seasons 3, 4 and 5 till she became unlikable. They did fix her in Season 6 but now they can't get together as both are married. Sara Lance/Leonard Snart(Captain Canary)- This was potentially a great pairing. I liked the faint romantic tension between them in the entire Season 1. I also loved their flirting. Of course the kiss was a little rushed but it was still good. Unfortunately, they decided to kill him off. Sara Lance/Nyssa al Ghul- While I don't see the relationship surviving that much outside the League, it was still a good one and I did like it overall because they loved each other. After Oliver and Snart, Nyssa is the one I ship Sara most with. Sara Lance/Alex Danvers- If it is done properly, I am all in. Both are badass women with badass sisters they care about. While the hookup was sexy, I wish we could get more. I would have loved a proper relationship. Ray Palmer/Sara Lance- The 2 could have been something great. There are some moments between them in Season 2 that could have evolved into something more. But the show loves reminding us that Sara is attracted to women so Ray can't get any love. Roy Harper/Thea Queen- Amazing pairing. Great love story. Unfortunately, Roy was written off in Season 3 and his return in Season 6 was wasted. At least him and Thea are together though. Smallville- Clark Kent/Lois Lane(Clois)- The best pairing in Smallville. A great connection and he was open with her. Clana was drawn out for too long till Clark's character was butchered. This romance should have started right in Season 6. Clark Kent/Chloe Sullivan(Chlark)- Best friends who could have become something more. I always liked their connection and the show did build up to some of their moments, only to pull out the rug a second later, which is unfortunate. Though having said that, I still prefer them as friends, as they worked best that way, and them even being briefly in a relationship would affect the friendship. Clark Kent/Alicia Baker- She had issues in the beginning but she genuinely wanted to redeem herself in Season 4 and her death was tragic, with the entire town condemning her. Clark and Alicia did love each other and felt they could be themselves around each other due to their powers. Still hate how the show glossed over her death and Clark's grief in one episode and had him say that he never loved her. Clark Kent/Tess Mercer- If her moral values were like Clark's, the two would make a good pair and while he is cautious of her and she has questionable methods, the two can be good together under different circumstances. Oliver Queen/Tess Mercer- Oliver cheated on her when he was less mature but now he's better and if they weren't on opposite sides, then the two could try to make it work. Oliver Queen/Dinah Lance- Dinah is this show is much more comic accurate and I liked her interactions with Oliver so if they're done properly, I'd support it. Oliver Queen/Chloe Sullivan(Chlollie)- They had good chemistry and a good connection. Both were very likable too. These 2 are a great pairing. DC Extended Universe- Clark Kent/Lois Lane(Clois)- I actually liked this more than other modern interpretations of the relationship. There was good chemistry too. And it helps that this Lois is actually useful and also likable, compared to other versions of the character. Arthur Curry/Mera- Nice and fun pairing with good chemistry and interactions. Diana Prince/Steve Trevor- Tragic love story and good chemistry. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Comics- Batman/Talia al Ghul- I used to like them together but at the end of the day, she is more loyal to her father than to Bruce. Not a healthy relationship. She is now an obsessive egomaniac. And the fact that Talia drugged and raped Bruce to conceive Damian Wayne was the final nail in the coffin for me. Nightwing/Tarantula- Same as Batman/Talia al Ghul. This one was unhealthy and toxic too as Tarantula exerted control over Nightwing. And she raped him too while he was drugged and in shock, even though he protested. Shazam/Stargirl- Mainly because he is a kid who looks like an adult when he uses his powers but also because it became messy later. Superman/Wonder Woman- It is just boring because they are too similar and it diminished Diana from one of Justice League's top members to a supporting character. Batman/Black Canary- Seriously?! The two have sex in their costumes on a dock surrounded by flaming bodies of thugs they have beaten up! What the hell? DC Animated Universe- Superman/Wonder Woman- Once again. It would be boring. Killer Croc/Baby Doll- What the hell was this crap? I don't want to see this one again. Batman/Batgirl- She is the college-age girlfriend of Dick Grayson, who is like Bruce's son. Plus, they first fight, then have sex under a gargoyle. It's creepy. Nightwing/Harley Quinn- She tied him to a bed and had sex with him. I don't need to say anymore. Arrowverse- Barry Allen/Iris West(WestAllen)- First of all, they grew up under the same roof and they both call Joe 'dad' so it is almost incest. They don't have any chemistry as a couple either. Plus, Barry seems like an obsessive stalker in Season 1 and sabotages his own relationships to be with her. Iris, on the other hand, treats Barry awfully. In Season 1, she tried to sabotage his relationship with Linda while she was with Eddie. She also blamed him for Eddie being taken. Barry is the worst version of himself when he is with Iris. In Season 3, the only thing he cares about is saving her. Everything else is a distant second. He forgets Cisco and Caitlin mostly, which is sad as the friendship between these 3 was one of the best things in the first 2 seasons of the show. Also, she broke up with him right after he was almost killed by Savitar and then showed off her ringless finger. In Season 4, Iris has officially become the worst character in the Arrowverse. The way she treated him during the couple-counselling alone made me hate her. They forced this relationship down our throats and sabotaged all other relationships of Barry which were good. Cisco Ramon/Caitlin Snow- These 2 are amazing as friends and have a great brother/sister relationship. Why anyone would think of them as lovers is beyond me. Alex Danvers/Maggie Sawyer(Sanvers)- The only reason this was around was to show us that Alex is a lesbian. That's it. There was no other reason for this pairing to exist. Maggie was an unnecessary character. She had some strong material with her father but she was written off 2 episodes later. Kara Danvers/James Olsen- Rushed pairing and I did not see any chemistry. James Olsen/Lena Luthor- This is not that bad but there was no buildup and this is weird as James had issues with Lena simply because she was Lex's sister. This is only because they don't know what to do with James and Lena is not becoming a villain anytime soon. Carter Hall/Kendra Saunders- It takes a special kind of incompetency to screw up such an awesome relationship in the comics and also both the characters involved in it. They had no chemistry as a couple and Kendra was annoying with her 'one month ago I was a barrista' line. I wanted to shove a sock down her throat to prevent her from speaking. Carter was just boring. And they did not spend much time together as he died within 2 episodes and came back in the last couple of them. Dinah Drake/Vincent Sobel- This was done solely to make Dinah an unlikable character. And it made Vigilante pointless too. This relationship is one of the reasons Arrow Season 6 got screwed. Sara Lance/Ava Sharpe(AvaLance)- I used to like it but after the reveal that Ava is a clone, I just can't stand it. Note- Oliver Queen/Felicity Smoak(Olicity) used to be part of the disliked section but while Season 6 screwed a lot of things, it did fix Felicity to an extent and gave us a drama-free Olicity(mostly) so if that is the Olicity we get, I will give it a pass. But it won't be around in my stories. Oliver Queen/Earth-1 Laurel Lance(Lauriver) was a part of the liked section but isn't anymore. While this should have been the central love story of Arrow right from the start, the fact that Oliver cheated on her with her own sister and Samantha screwed the romance right in the beginning. They do have a lot in common and she understands him, but the way the romance was written made me not root for it so much. Plus, my friends are being harassed by Laurel fanatics recently so I'm not writing for this pairing. Oliver Queen/Earth-2 Laurel Lance(Lauriver)- While I think this can be good, Season 6 ruined Black Siren and made her a moustache twirling villain, and the flip-flopping stuff turned me off on her. Guess with Malcolm dead they wanted her to carry out the tradition. And at the end of the day, I think they can only be a rebound, as Oliver would try to see his Laurel in her and Laurel would try to see her Oliver in him, and it would make this pairing not the best. Smallville- Clark Kent/Lana Lang(Clana)- It used to be cute but it was drawn out to an absurd degree by Season 8 and Lana became a horrible person later. She constantly hurt Clark and put those he cared about in danger. They should have ended this pairing with Season 3 when Lana went to Paris and then done Clark/Alicia for 2 Seasons while making Alicia a recurring character before finally doing Clark/Lois. DC Extended Universe- Bruce Wayne/Diana Prince- Mainly because this version of Batman is an asshole and he spoke ill about Steve Trevor. #4- Star Wars Another awesome universe. I love the original trilogy. The first two movies are masterpieces while the third one is amazing too. Characters like Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia Organa, Chewbacca, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda and Darth Vader are so iconic. I love the lightsaber duels too. I don't like the Prequel Trilogy except Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. Star Wars: The Clone Wars is a great show. Haven't seen Star Wars: Rebels yet but I've heard nice things about it. Star Wars Legends book series are a delight to read. The Sequel Trilogy started out okay with The Force Awakens but The Last Jedi was a huge mess. Rogue One was great. Haven't seen Solo yet. I also love Star Wars: The Force Unleashed video game series. It takes place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. The main character is called Galen Marek and I love him a lot. He's a badass too. I mean, he fought Vader and Sidious in quick succession and beat them both. Yes, he is kind of a Mary Sue, but he's a well-utilized one, which makes him interesting and entertaining. There's also the Ultimate Sith Edition video game which shows us how the original trilogy would have gone down if Galen Marek had become evil. While I hate the Disney Trilogy, I do love The Mandalorian on their streaming service. It's a nice Space Western set in the Star Wars Universe and actually respects the lore. The characters are fun and likable too. And it gave us Baby Yoda! So this is what I have to say about Star Wars. Favorite Characters- Original Trilogy- Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia Organa, Chewbacca, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, Darth Vader, Sheev Palpatine, R2-D2, C-3PO Prequel Trilogy- Obi-Wan Kenobi, Count Dooku, Darth Sidious, Anakin Skywalker, Yoda Sequel Trilogy- Ben Solo/Kylo Ren Star Wars: The Clone Wars- Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano Star Wars Legends- Anakin Solo, Jacen Solo/Darth Caedus, Kento Marek, Mara Jade Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Series- Galen Marek/Starkiller, Juno Eclipse, General Rahm Kota, PROXY, Bail Organa, Darth Vader The Mandalorian- Din Djarin/The Mandalorian/Mando, Baby Yoda/The Child, Carasynthia 'Cara' Dune, Kuiil, IG-11, The Armorer, Greef Karga Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Original Trilogy- Han Solo/Princess Leia Organa- I don't think I even need to explain this one. Star Wars: Legends- Luke Skywalker/Mara Jade- He helped her free herself of Palpatine's influence and she keeps him from being too naive. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Series- Galen Marek/Juno Eclipse- I see a mutual respect between them and of course they fell in love too. I guess these are the only pairings in Star Wars I care about. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Sequel Trilogy- Rey/Kylo Ren- Only happening because of fan service and they are both too boring for me to care about. Plus, this pairing only sends the wrong message. #5- A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones The books and the TV series are both on this spot. The great land of Westeros created by George R.R. Martin. He's a great author. He is cruel too. All the unexpected deaths and all that. Excited for the new book. Sounds awesome to me. The TV series was pretty awesome but it started going downhill Season 5 onwards and the last two season were abominations of the highest order. I love a lot of characters here, mainly- Ned Stark, Tyrion Lannister, LittleFinger, Arya Stark, Sandor Clegane, Jaime Lannister and Bronn. It's pretty realistic for fantasy but that's the point. Also love how each chapter is from a character's POV. This is what I had to say about A Song of Ice and Fire books and Game of Thrones TV series. Favorite Characters- Books- Ned Stark, Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Stannis Baratheon, Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish, Varys, Olenna Tyrell, Margaery Tyrell, Loras Tyrell, Oberyn Martell, Sandor Clegane, Robb Stark, Tyrion Lannister, Tywin Lannister, Samwell Tarly, Eddison Tollett, Grenn, Pypar, Jaime Lannister, Arya Stark, Cersei Lannister, Ygritte, Brienne of Tarth, Podrick Payne, Gilly, Hodor, Osha, Ghost, Summer, Grey Wind Show- Ned Stark, Sansa Stark, Oberyn Martell, Sandor Clegane, Tyrion Lannister, Jorah Mormont, Lyanna Mormont, Jaime Lannister, Tywin Lannister, Bronn, Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish, Varys, Olenna Tyrell, Margaery Tyrell, Theon Greyjoy, Robb Stark, Arya Stark, Jon Snow, Davos Seaworth, Beric Dondarrion, Cersei Lannister, Samwell Tarly, Eddison Tollett, Grenn, Pypar, Tormund, Talisa Stark, Gendry, Daario Naharis, Ygritte, Podrick Payne, Brienne of Tarth, Gilly, Hodor, Osha, Ros, Ghost, Summer, Grey Wind, Drogon Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Books- Ned Stark/Catelyn Stark- They are a married couple that works perfectly and they support each other. Jon Snow/Yggrite- These two were great and I wish we could have more of them. But unfortunately, they were on the opposite sides of the conflict. Samwell Tarly/Gilly- I don't think I need to explain this one. Show- Ned Stark/Catelyn Stark- Same as books. Jon Snow Yggrite- Same as books and the fact that the actors are in an actual relationship makes the chemistry even better. Jaime Lannister/Brienne of Tarth- I see some chemistry between them and I could see it becoming something more. Robb Stark/Talisa Stark- They were great and 'The Red Wedding' broke my heart. Samwell Tarly/Gilly- Same as books. Arya Stark/Gendry- This was so sweet. They both deserve some happiness. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Books- Jaime Lannister/Cersei Lannister- Incestuous relationship and I don't support incest. Show- Jaime Lannister/Cersei Lannister- Same as books. Jon Snow/Daenerys Targaryen- Also incest so I don't like it. #6- Kingdom Hearts Now this is one hell of an interesting universe. I mean, who could have imagined someone like Sephiroth interacting with characters like Donald Duck and Goofy? The entire series is a crossover between Disney and Final Fantasy but they are all recurring characters. I love the main characters a lot- Sora, Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Namine, Terra, Ventus and Aqua. Another character I love is Axel/Lea The Keyblade stuff is so interesting and I also love the concept of light and darkness and all the different worlds. And Disney characters like Mickey, Donald, Goofy and Yen-Sid are very interesting in here. Xehanort is a very interesting villain. The alternate versions of Final Fantasy characters are pretty interesting. I am very excited for Kingdom Hearts III and I hope the rumors of worlds being based on Marvel and Star Wars are true. Favorite Characters- Sora, Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Namine, Xion, Terra, Ventus, Aqua, Axel/Lea, Ansem the Wise, Ansem Seeker of Darkness, Xemnas, Xehanort(All versions) Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Sora/Kairi- Friends for a long time and they can be something more due to how much they care about each other. Roxas/Namine- Nobodies of Sora and Kairi. Plus, they have a really special connection. Terra/Aqua- Same as Sora/Kairi. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Riku/Kairi- He seems more like an older brother to both Sora and Kairi. That's it. Ventus/Aqua- I think her and Terra are more like older siblings to Ventus so I don't think of it as a romance. #7- Final Fantasy Now all the different games tell us different stories and are set in different universes but Dissidia Final Fantasy series brings them together nicely. I like a lot of these games here. The ones I don't like much are Final Fantasy XI, Final Fantasy XII and Final Fantasy XIV. There is nothing wrong with the gameplay in them but they don't really give me the feels like the other games do. The ones I love a lot are Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy VII(The entire Compilation of Final Fantasy VII), Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XV. Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII and Kefka from Final Fantasy VI are my favorite villains here and I'm among those who prefer Sephiroth(By a small margin). Cloud from Final Fantasy VII and Squall Leonhart from Final Fantasy VIII are my favorite heroes here and I also love Zack Fair from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. Dissidia Final Fantasy series is a nice crossover between them all. Favorite Characters- Final Fantasy- Garland Final Fantasy II- Firion, Minwu, Leon Final Fantasy III- Xande Final Fantasy IV- Cecil Harvey, Kain Highwind, Golbez Final Fantasy V- Gilgamesh Final Fantasy VI- Kefka Palazzo, Terra Branford, Locke Cole, Celes Chere, Edgar Roni Figaro, Sabin Rene Figaro, Ultros Compilation of Final Fantasy VII- Sephiroth, Cloud Strife, Zack Fair, Vincent Valentine, Rufus Shinra, Reno, Rude, Tseng, Elena, Genesis Rhapsodos, Angeal Hewley, Cissnei, Tifa Lockhart, Aerith Gainsborough Final Fantasy VIII- Squall Leonhart, Seifer Almasy, Ultimecia Final Fantasy IX- Vivi Ornitier, Zidane Tribal, Garnet Til Alexandros XVII Final Fantasy X Series- Auron, Tidus, Yuna, Wakka Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy- Lightning, Serah Final Fantasy XV- Noctis Lucis Caelum Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Final Fantasy IV- Cecil Harvey/Rosa Farrell- Childhood lovers. Plus, they make each other more interesting. Final Fantasy VI- Locke Cole/Celes Chere- Both of them connect due tot heir tragic backstories and they are a great couple. Compilation of Final Fantasy VII- Zack Fair/Aerith Gainsborough- Awesome pairing and I think they were really well-written, though it ends in tragedy due to Zack's death. Cloud Strife/Tifa Lockhart- I think they were well-developed through the course of the game and I imagine them to be a good match. Cloud Strife/Aerith Gainsborough- These two were good too and could have been a nice pairing but she died unfortunately. Zack Fair/Cissnei- I got a sexy vibe from them and I think they could have been a good pairing. Final Fantasy VIII- Squall Leonhart/Rinoa Heartilly- This relationship was at the center of the game's story and that's why it was so memorable. Final Fantasy X Series- Tidus/Yuna- A slow burn but the payoff was worth it. Plus, they just make the game better. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Compilation of Final Fantasy VII- Sephiroth/Cloud Strife- What the fuck is this crap? Cloud Strife/Zack Fair- Great! More crap! Like Frodo/Sam and Steve/Bucky, this is an insult to bromance. Reno/Tifa Lockhart- When I was younger, I thought they would make a sexy couple but they don't have anything in common to make it an interesting relationship. Final Fantasy X Series- Yuna/Seymour Guado- Political loveless marriage. Nothing I dislike more than that. Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy- Serah/Snow Villiers- Serah was great in the second game but in this one, she was boring and the same can be said for Snow. Boring characters make a boring ship. #8- The Chronicles of Narnia Written by Tolkien's good friend C.S. Lewis, this series and universe are any child's favorite dream as all of us want to get lost in some fantastical worlds at that and Narnia truly is that kind of world with fascinating magical creatures and evil witches. The books are all well done, though I wish Susan could have been part of the end too. But I get it. Some people can be like that later in life. I loved the first two movies. The third was okay but not as good as the first two. Favorite Characters- Books- Peter Pevensie, Lucy Pevensie, Edmund Pevensie, Susan Pevensie, Aslan, Mr. Tumnus Movies- Peter Pevensie, Susan Pevensie, Lucy Pevensie, Edmund Pevensie, Aslan, Mr. Tumnus, Prince Caspian Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Books- None Movies- Susan Pevensie/Prince Caspian- I liked it in the second movie and found it sweet. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- None really. #9- Death Note This is just amazing. The manga is extraordinary and so is the anime. Light Yagami and L have to be two of the most interesting and complex characters in existence. And its just so unpredictable. A lot of brains are needed to watch this masterpiece. The two anime movies are amazing too. The Japanese movies based on this are average while the Japanese show was below average. The Netflix movie doesn't exist for me. Forget I mentioned it. Favorite Characters- Light Yagami, L, Mello, Near, Soichiro Yagami, Ryuk, Kiyomi Takada Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Light Yagami/Kiyomi Takada- This was actually a good pairing in this series. If Light was not a sociopath, then these two are perfect for each other. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Light Yagami/Misa Amane- He just used her for his mission of a new world. He didn't really give a shit about her or her feelings. Light Yagami/L- Seriously? #10- Devil May Cry This is one of the best video game series I have ever played. Dante is one of the most badass video game characters ever. As Insieme per la vittoria has described him in the summary of The Webslinger and the Devil Hunter- as strong and fast as Thor, as heavily armed as Deadpool, as unkillable as Wolverine, and as abrasive and rude as Tony Stark. Yup, that's him. The world is awesome too. The demons like Mundus and Argosax are really interesting and I enjoy the dynamic between Dante and Vergil. Other characters like Nero, Trish and Lady are also pretty interesting. That reboot was horrible but the new game which will continue the original series looks awesome. I also enjoy the anime. Favorite Characters- Dante, Vergil, Nero, Trish, Lady, Patty Lowell, Mundus Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Dante/Trish- Just because she looks a little like his mother doesn't mean she is. And they seem like they would be great together. But that's my opinion. I am content with them not being a thing but if they were, I would be content with that too. Dante/Lady- I think they have a funny, sexy dynamic and would be good together. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- None really. #11- Bayonetta This is another nice video game universe. Bayonetta is as badass as Dante is and is also very witty, just like him. The storyline with the memory loss was pretty interesting and that's what got me hooked to this universe. And I'm a sucker for games with concepts of light and darkness and this universe gives me that, along with a great gameplay and nice characters. Favorite Characters- Bayonetta, Jeanne, Enzo, Rodin, Balder Now for pairings, I don't really feel much about any pairing or potential pairing of this series so no comment on any of them. #12- Code Geass Brilliant anime and universe. The story is set in an alternative timeline where the world is divided into three superpowers: the Holy Britannian Empire, the Chinese Federation, and the European Union. Like Light Yagami and L from Death Note, Lelouch vi Britannia is one of the most interesting and complex characters in existence. This anime is very unpredictable too. And the power of the Geass is so awesome. Favorite Characters- Lelouch vi Britannia, C.C., Kallen Stadtfeld, Suzaku Kururugi, Jeremiah Gottwald, Nunnally vi Britannia Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Lelouch vi Britannia/C.C.- At this point, I think they should be a thing and I love the pairing. They both care about each other a lot too. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Honestly, never thought about it. #13- Fullmetal Alchemist Amazing manga/anime with a great concept that is executed nicely. Alchemy has always been an interesting concept and this series does it nicely. Who wouldn't want to create anything they desire? The main characters are also very interesting and compelling. And both the animes are very well done. Favorite Characters- Edward Elric, Alphonse Elric, Roy Mustang, Riza Hawkeye, Olivier Mira Armstrong, Winry Rockbell Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Edward Elric/Winry Rockbell- Funny and cute relationship which is done nicely. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- None to be honest. #14- Avatar: The Last Airbender You're lying if you say you don't look back at both of the animated series fondly. Both Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra are among the best animated series I have ever seen. Airbenders, waterbenders, earthbenders and firebenders was an interesting concept done nicely. And then you have the Avatar, which everyone knows about. Aang is so lovable and he can be deadly too when the situation demands it. Then you have The Legend of Korra which has some great political intrigue. I'm sure everyone loves both of these. The movie doesn't exist. Favorite Characters- Avatar Aang, Katara, Sokka, Zuko, Iroh, Toph Beifong, Appa, Avatar Korra, Tenzin, Mako, Lin Beifong Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Avatar Aang/Katara- It was cute and funny in the beginning but eventually became true love. Zuko/Mai- This was very nicely done, so it sucks that they had to break up. But I understand it completely. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Again, none. #15- Ben 10 Another popular cartoon which we all love since childhood. Again, if you say you don't love it, then you're lying. I used to watch the episodes airing on TV daily along with every single re-run. Ben 10, Ben 10: Alien Force and Ben 10: Ultimate Alien were all well done and amazing. Ben 10: Omniverse is where they lost me and I didn't even know it had a reboot until one year after it came out and I know it must be horrible like most remakes are. Ben himself is a great character with a variety of powers due to the Omnitrix and then the Ultimatrix and I like Gwen, Kevin and Max a lot too. Some of the movies are pretty enjoyable to me as well. Favorite Characters- Ben Tennyson, Gwen Tennyson, Kevin Levin, Max Tennyson, Vilgax, Albedo, Ship, Julie Yamamoto Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Gwen Tennyson/Kevin Levin- Been ages since I've seen it but I used to like these two together a lot. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- None that I can remember. #16- Dragon Ball One of the most popular manga/animes ever. I used to watch it a lot as a kid and I still watch some great episodes when I get the time. Goku and Vegeta have among the most iconic rivalries in manga/anime and I love them both a lot along with a lot of other stuff. But I'm not a fan of Dragon Ball GT. Favorite Characters- Son Goku, Vegeta, Future Trunks, Gohan, Piccolo, Android 18, Krillin, Vegito, Frieza, Cell Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Son Goku/Chi-Chi- A funny, sweet pairing here. Vegeta/Bulma- Wasn't sure about it but was done nicely. Gohan/Videl- This was done nicely too. Yamcha/Bulma- I enjoyed it while it lasted. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- None, to be honest. #17- Naruto Huge fan of Naruto too. A nice tale of an underdog who rose up. The characters are really great and interesting along with a deep plot. Though the filler in the anime annoyed me a lot later but it was still enjoyable overall. I still haven't finished it though because of how long it is. I will sometime. Favorite Characters- Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Itachi Uchiha, Hinata Hyuga, Kakashi Hatake, Orochimaru, Jiraiya, Minato Namikaze, Gaara Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Naruto Uzumaki/Hinata Hyuga- A perfect slow burn and they have very similar personality traits too. And when Hinata confessed her love to him, it was absolutely heart touching. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- I don't dislike any pairing that much. Note- Sasuke Uchiha/Sakura Haruno is a pairing on which I have a mixed opinion. I don't hate it but I am not a huge fan of it either and I don't like what they did with it sometimes. Sakura had to be stripped of all her character development and turned into a fangirl again like she was at the start. Though I like their daughter Sadara. #18- God of War I love this series a lot as well. Kratos is one badass anti-hero and to be honest, Greek Gods are arseholes in the actual Greek Mythology as well. The games are just fun and cool with a great plot and they have done some nice world building too in this version of Ancient Greece. The change up to Norse Mythology was also cool in the latest game. Favorite Characters- Kratos, Atreus, Athena, Deimos, Zeus Pairings? What pairings? #19- Bleach Another great anime series with a very recognizable hero- Ichigo Kurosaki. The stuff with Soul Reapers and spirits and souls is all done very nicely. The plot is also very interesting and compelling. Favorite Characters- Ichigo Kurosaki, Kenpachi Zaraki, Sosuke Aizen, Soifon, Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez, Rukia Kuchiki, Orihime Inoue Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Ichigo Kurosaki/Rukia Kuchiki- These two were the best couple of the series for me. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Ichigo Kurosaki/Orihime Inoue(IchiHime)- Not a huge fan. Kind of stereotypical. And Ichigo needs to be with someone who has a backbone like Rukia. #20- Terminator Now I know the franchise went very downhill after the first two movies but I still find the later movies to be good shlock fun for me, and I do like a lot of stuff about Terminator: Salvation because it does something different from the other movies. Even though the franchise isn't what it used to be, I do like the Universe and its concepts a lot, including those of time travel. And I found Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles to be a good show. I haven't seen Terminator: Dark Fate yet and probably won't after hearing of a certain plot point in the beginning that turned me off completely. And I think Terminator: Genisys was a really horrible movie and isn't even good shlock fun for me, unlike its two predecessors. I have read some of the comics and they are enjoyable. Arnold Schwarzengger, Linda Hamilton, Michael Biehn and Robert Patrick have given the best performances in this series as their respective characters. Favorite Characters- T-800, Sarah Connor, John Connor, Kyle Reese, T-1000, Marcus Wright Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Sarah Connor/Kyle Reese- One of those classic 80's action-movies pairings. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- None. |
