After what should have been a routine away mission, Jim Kirk is faced with one of his worst nightmares: Chekov's been taken captive by the Orion slave trade. As he races to get his navigator back, Kirk is forced to consider what he was asked four years ago: "Is there anything you would not do for your family?" Post-Beyond. Slight Chekov whump. I accidentally stumbled upon a picture about Fíli and Kíli in Deviantart and then, in hours after that, this story just sort of wrote itself. So here it is; my version of what happened after one of the Company's ponies bolted into the river.

The company's sadness at the scene that had unfolded before their eyes caused silence and the shedding of tears, only the sound of the haunting river and the young prince's cries of anguish could be heard. But even as Kili sets off to fulfil his promise to Dis and Fili works to establish his reign, forces are at work that would see the end of Durin's line and the power of the Mountain in the hands of Middle Earth's oldest and darkest enemy...

When the Goblin King singles Ori out as the youngest, thereby condemning him to torture, Kili can't stand idly by. He steps forward and owns his true age as the youngest of the company. His Malevolence is delighted. Thorin is livid. And Fili is determined his brother will get through this, and is prepared to do whatever necessary to ensure it. Based on Peter Jackson's Movies.

Fíli and Kíli get in a fight, and Fíli stomps off on his own... but when he doesn't return, it's up to Kíli to find him. But something has happened to Fíli, and he no longer seems to be the brother Kíli knows. No slash.

Kíli felt cold as the waves rushed over his body - The familiar feeling of despair returned to Fíli, only moments after it had vanished. It sunk into his bones, but it was worse this time. This was the kind of despair that was shattering, the kind that could break a heart as strong as Fíli's.

Kíli sat on the bed, his legs crossed and his eyes wide, feigned innocence radiating from his being. Dís put her hands on her hips. "Kíli, what have you done?" she said. "Nothing," Kíli answered too quickly. "An' I don't know where Fíli is, either." Little Durins oneshot.

When Captain Kirk is suddenly struck down by a mysterious illness, Dr. McCoy is faced with the challenge of trying to save his best friend's life. But another force is at play, and it soon becomes clear that Jim's condition is no accident. A new chapter added that explains a lot of the mystery.

At first Thorin was not overly enamoured at the thought of becoming an uncle. That quickly changed upon the arival of his first sister-son. A series of snippets from Fili and Kili growing up with Uncle Thorin and the rest of the Durin family.

As cadets on a summer internship, Kirk and McCoy are supposed to keep their eyes open and their mouths shut. After all, they've both seen enough trouble in two years at the Academy. However, when a mystery starts to weave itself around the mission, and the senior officers don't seem interested in investigating, how far can Kirk and McCoy let it go?

They never mention their father. Thorin and Fíli remember him; Kíli does not. His brother and uncle prefer it that way. There are some things the young should never have to know.

Kili takes a trip with his father, but it turns bad. Kili is 5 and Fili is 10, because you can never have to much little Fili and Kili!

Modern All-Human AU: Every five years Balin calls his enormous family to his lake house for a week of vacation, and Fili and Kili always look forward to it - but as soon as he picks him up from the train station Fili knows something is seriously wrong with Kili. Rated T for language.

With a dangerous criminal on the loose and Academy leadership not doing enough, Jim and Bones have to get their lives back together and find out what happened before it happens again.

Hobbit Kink Meme Fill: Every time Kili doesn't make a shot he deems "good enough", he punishes himself. Cuts, burns, any way he considers fit. One time he misses by what he thinks of as a completely unacceptable margin, and when he's severely injuring himself, one or many of the members of the company catch him. Comfort ensues, complete with confused Kili. (warnings: self-harm)

Even the closest of brothers quarrel. Though they should probably not have chosen to do so on the glittering ice of the lake.
