This is absolutely fantastic. I love the way that you write Thorin and his nephews. They are perfectly in character, and it's so much fun to see what shaped them as they grew.

Being the youngest I know what it's like when your older siblings have/get to do other things that you can't so you always feel kinda left out...I think it's good that Thorin's waiting a bit so they can stay together. He knows how important brotherly bonds are.

FINALLY! Finally someone wrote how Bilbo found out that Fili and Kili are Throin's cousins! It wasn't mentioned in the first movie, and the first time in the book where it is mentioned it in Laketown as far as I know.

Wow! All 15 chapters at once! This is great! Loved the first chapter, wondering what Fili and Kili did, and I LOVE the fact that you had Thorin not very excited for his first sister-child. For some reason I really love that. I think it's because it's different from everything else I've read. Can't wait to read the rest!
