It's really too bad this won't be finished. Hiatus always means never going to finish. But this was very good. I wish we could have read more.

I think that Fili and Kili are older than Bilbo(being dwarves and all. Correct me if I'm wrong).
But its a cute story. Also hoping for thorin to come soon!

Let's be honest here. You got upset because you hadn't updated in a long time and a reader said something about it. I just looked for the comment, and it was made at least a full year after you stopped updating. You took the time to come back and write an entire page about how that's unfair, how life gets in the way, and no one should say anything about it. Then you assured everyone that you did not abandon the story. Yet it's been over a year since then, and you have yet to continue.

While I hope that you do intend to make good on your promise that the story is not abandoned, and I recognize that you could be going through something, or have simply lost all interest in continuing, it's a little odd that you found it so insulting that a reader got frustrated. Of course your readers are going to get frustrated at the seeming abandonment of a good story.

Think, though, if your story had been bad, no one would care if you continued or not. So look at comments like that as a compliment.

And if you're really offended, actually prove the commenter wrong by posting another chapter. Rants like this, especially when followed by nothing, just tend to upset readers like me who come by later.

I hope I was able to express these thoughts with the respect I intended.

I just wanted to let you know that j greatly enjoy this story and that Im going to follow it to know when the next chapter comes up. I hope that whatever situation that you have going on resolves itself shortly and well for you. Anyone that wants to bitch at you for not updating obviously has never actually written a story. You keep doing what you gotta and I will wait for the update because I am highly interested in seeing what happens next.

So far I am loving this story! I can't wait to read everyone's reactions once all is realised! I'm looking forward to the update, but take all the time you need.

This story is amazing. I love the idea of Bilbo raising Kili. I think you did a really good job in getting their character's just right, and I look forward to seeing what happens next.
But take your time in updating! A story like this is definitely worth waiting for, and I thank you for writing it.
