A few years ago, I got into the world of FanFiction searching for good stories from the characters of Twilight. After some time, real life beckoned and I was not reading fan fictions as widely as during the whole Twilight phase.

Recently, or in November 2018, Netflix made available Meteor Garden (Taiwan) and feeling a bit nostalgic, I watched Season 1 again.

Afterward, I watched Boys Over Flowers (Korea) after Meteor Garden and my life was changed! This was shown in 2009 but I never saw a single episode. At the time, I was so busy with work.

I did not anticipate that I will be greatly affected by BOF. I have watched and re-watched the series several times (counting to more than 10x) depending on the episodes. In Meteor Garden, I had no problem rooting for Dao Ming Si and Sanchai, but I found that in BOF that I am rooting for Jan Di and Ji Hoo. I did not like the ending and I just couldn't let go of my obsession to be at peace that Ji Hoo and Jan Di's happy ending.

And that is how I found FanFiction again and getting lost in all the wonderful stories written by women who also love JanHoo. I saw more than a thousand stories but I maintain my attention to stories with my favorite characters that is why I love JHsgf82, NerwenT, amber250, cutestuff024, akuryo, Lost Skies and MsChipper to just name a few.

I have been grateful for their gift to write their stories and keep my obsession alive.

I have already read most of the JanHoo fan fictions available and have re-read my favorites. I put alerts on the stories that are still not complete or new stories, I feel I have yet to let go of my obsession.

And recently, I got encouraged to try my hand in writing too. My first FanFic, I published on January 5, 2019, which was the 10th year anniversary of showing the first episode of Boys Over Flowers (which is a trivia that I did not know until I saw some posts about it). I am also thinking about several storylines which I hope I will get to write and eventually publish here.

Then, I watched the Japanese Hana Yori Dango series and movie and read the anime, so now I added HYD to the stories I am reading.

I also re-visited Twilight and got obsessed with alternative pairings: Bella-Jasper and Bella-Paul. I feel their storylines are sexier.
