Author has written 20 stories for CSI, Harry Potter, Hot Fuzz, Office, Psych, Heroes, Star Trek: 2009, Fingersmith, Glee, Twilight, Misc. Movies, and Supernatural. About what I write: The first thing you need to know is that I write mostly SLASH. If that's a problem for you, you should probably click away now. My stories are full of teh gay. You also might want to know a little something about the pairings I tend to write. I love pairings between characters who are generally known as being rivals. I especially enjoy writing stories that involve these characters getting together for the first time. The dynamic of following a relationship shift like that intrigues me, and you may notice that I like to explore it in my stories. As you read my work, you might also notice that I have a funny way of looking at the world, which shows in how I write. Even in my non-comedic stories, my sense of humour can't help but peek through. It's subtle (and often dark/dry), but I hope those that notice it appreciate it. About my game plan: My top priority right now is finishing my posted Supernatural stories. Next, my focus will move on to my unfinished Harry Potter ones, as well as three Psych ones that I have begun writing, but have not yet begun posting. After that, I will work on the Hot Fuzz and Heroes ones that I have started posting already. The only uncertain one is the Twilight story, to which I may or may not ever return. If interest is shown in the project, I'll consider revisiting it, but otherwise it may simply remain a single chapter. It is quite a large project, and I'm just not as into Twilight as I am the other fandoms in which I write. Twilight has a good basic foundation (who doesn't like vampires and werewolves?), but is so badly written, and full of depictions of such unhealthy relationships, that I wanted to take the basic premise and totally rewrite it. It's just that, because my enthusiasm for Twilight as a series isn't really there, it's hard to find the motivation to draw and keep my attention on that story. When all of my other stories are written and posted, I may come back to that project. About me: Reviews are like heroin to me. They inspire me to write. If you love one of my in-progress stories and can't wait for more, let me know. This will light a fire under my ass so you'll get what you want faster. I admit, I'm crap at updating. I do write just about every day, but I'm spreading my writing time among a number of unfinished stories. Plus, I'm easily distracted by sparkly objects (that's code for ADD). Reviews bring stories to the forefront of my mind, and make me want to write more (to get more reviews-seriously, it's like heroin.) I'm super friendly, so if you have any questions/comments, please feel free to include them in a review or PM them to me. I live in Minnesota (USA) with the love of my life. In August 2013 gay marriage was finally made legal in our state, so we got married on August 9th of that year! We recently adopted an English mastiff puppy (we named him Fezzik), who has completed our family. I am a freelance writer. I have major interests in criminology, forensic psychology, sociology, physics, history, and philosophy. In fact, they interest me so much, I've earned degrees in crim and psych, am only a few credits short of a degree in philosophy, and would obtain degrees in the other disciplines if money weren't an issue. As it is, I study them all in my free time. In my spare time, aside from pursuing knowledge in areas that interest me, I also listen to and write/play music (I play piano, drums, guitar, and violin), as well as paint, read, and-of course-write. |
