I think that some people have at least a little bit of those Obssessive/Compulsive issues in their personalities that send them to create or make their loved ones nuts. Some of these creative people will have these thoughts and ideas about the movies, television shows, books and art that drive them into distraction until they write it down, draw it, storyboard it and, basically, think it to death! I hope that I am enough of one of these types of people to do those ideas justice and to communicate it in such a way that others find entertaining. Luckily for me, my family is very tolerant of my occasional obsessions and sketches, doodles, ink, colored pencils, paints, etc all over the house. They are also tolerant of the withdrawl symptoms during show hiatus, cancellations, the time between sequels, etc...

"The Cat and the Snake" was my first venture into fanfic. While I have kept it on my listing, I keep it solely because I am able to judge my growth as a writer based on that piece... I hope that I can represent myself and others in the community well with my writing.

I participate in E/O Challenges under the Title "A Dribble, A Drabble" for 2011 and "The Trouble with Dribbles" for 2012. I have other works that are one-shots and drabbles.

"Keeping Them Safe" is my attempt at a character analysis of John Winchester. I try to keep it as close to canon as possible.

"The Winchesters and the Horseman" was a commission (of sorts) by my wonderful Hubby. I hope it is enjoyable to read.

I wrote "Nevermore" based on Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven"-- my Hubby's favorite piece of literature-- and I was feeling compelled.

"A Window is a Mirror" is an AU "coming out" Destiel story. The experiences were a conglomeration of "coming out" stories I have been told by friends as well as some I heard second-hand.

I have a fanart on deviantart for Lampito's "You've Gotta Be Kidding". I also have "Upon my Knees, Do I Repent" there under my Deviant name (same as my fanfic name. PaulatheCat)
