Author has written 94 stories for CSI, Sentinel, X-Files, Misc. Books, Star Trek: 2009, StarTrek: The Original Series, Sherlock Holmes, Ironman, Spider-Man, and Avengers. 'Chapin' is a fond nickname given to people born in Guatemala. I don't speak English and it shows in my stories; luckily, my readers are very forgiving. Thanks! I don't have time to read fan fiction anymore, but I used to be a huge fan of The Sentinel adult site. Almost all I know of slash, I learned there. I write Gil/Greg, Spock/J.Kirk, Gil/Sara, and occasionally, Jim/Blair. I'm currently writing Pepper & Tony stories. I'd been writing stories for the Star Trek 2009 fandom, (I love Spock, and I'm starting to tolerate Jim Kirk (actually, it's Shatner that I can't stand)... ...And then one day in March I saw the last few minutes of Iron Man, and my life changed. RDJ was wonderful in it -unexpectedly so. A few notes about my stories: Star Trek dominated my thoughts from July 2009 to March 2010; Now it's all about Sherlock Holmes and Iron Man. I still love ST, and CSI too -well, mostly I love Grissom. I think I love Grissom for the same reasons I loved Spock: both are quiet, devastatingly intelligent guys with a knack for understatement. Beautiful to look at, too... As for my other stories: Indecisions was nominated for a 2009 CSI Fanfic Award! My Sentinel fics got me nominated as 'Outstanding slash author' and 'Classic slash author' at the Light My Fire Awards 2008!! The easiest story to write was: The first chapter of 'A little something around the middle'. I started it right after 'Big Middle.' The dialogue came very easy, and I wrote it in two days -a record for me. A New Life got a nomination at the Light my Fire Awards 2007! Coffee Talk I remember it fondly because I wrote it while I was on vacation in another city. I'd be walking down the street and get suddenly struck by an idea, and so I would stop and write it down. Eavesdropping 1 I wrote it because I love dogs and wanted to include one in a story. Bite Me was inspired by a story I read in the Sentinel Adult Archive. There, the story was told from a zipper's point of view. Weird, huh? After that, I didn't think a tarantula's point of view would be so far-fetched. Decisions I started it because my other slash stories were all about Greg falling in love with a reluctant Grissom. This time I wanted Gil to be the one who fell hopelessly in love. I do hope to finish it some day! Consequences was the first CSI story I ever wrote, and it was inspired by Tayla's Ruminations series. She never finished it so I wrote what I thought should have happened. Forever I wrote this around the time Pope John Paul II was dying. I guess I had death in my mind... Old songs is a story I'm specially proud of. I know it needs some serious rewriting, (my English has improved since then), but I finished it and managed to include some of my favorite songs. I got some inspiration in Pink Floyd's The Wall, and The Day we Meet Again by The Moody Blues. Road Trip is very special to me, because Alyona translated it to Russian. How about that? ; ) Just one Kiss was translated to Chinese by Kirrein. Seven days in the life of Sara Sidle In this story, I made Grissom and Sara travel to one of the most beautiful places in Guatemala: Lake Atitlan. |
