Hey there, be ye casual stranger or curious friend, hey and hello and salutations and welcome to the single page in this vast network of single pages that is my home and the outward face of my fanfiction world.

I, WalkingInTalaria, henceforth “Talaria,” am a slightly dysfunctional ISTJ with mild paranoia and people problems. Also, I promise not to bite anyone who doesn’t bite me first, but, should you be ignorant as to the function of logarithms after the age of sixteen, or if at any age you treat the elves of Tolkien’s world with anything less than the respect due to millennia-old beings of great power and majesty, or if you otherwise demonstrate a lack of intelligence at least one order of magnitude greater than the average for your age level, I will interpret this as a bite and feel completely justified in biting in return. I am a ravening wolf beneath my wooly coat, and my bites are not things with which to be trifled.

I consider myself a part of many fandoms, and will not provide the full list here, since there is nothing to be gained from doing so. Should you be curious, PM me. (Again, don’t worry, I only bite if you bite first!) The above holds true for books, although with books I care less about others’ convenience and more about offending the books themselves. (For reference, however, I am always open to conversation about Tolkien’s, Lewis’s, Sutcliff’s, Doyle’s, Rowling’s, Caesar’s, or Vergil’s works, in that order, or the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Star Wars universe, or mathematics. You have been warned.)

Should anyone be willing to tutor a slightly odd teenager over the internet in Latin, robotics, mathematics, computer programming (Java, Python, or HTML/CSS), chemistry, or physics, kindly PM and she will be forever grateful.

For rants on Peter Jackson’s Hobbit trilogy, Albus Dumbledore, Caesar and Vergil, Quintus Titurius Sabinus, or high school math textbooks, feel free to PM! (Remember, I only bite if you start it, and I only show my teeth if you ask.) I am more than willing to engage in a reasonable debate, engage in a shouted argument, or engage in any type of discussion between those two extremes on any of the aforementioned subjects, and doubtless many more should you suggest one.
