Author has written 1 story for Harry Potter. Again, June 2020 - Chapters 14 and 15 of Eeman now up. And another wordcount update: with 15 uploaded, my word count is over 59,000 words at this point. I am truly surprising myself. I am attempting to not be too wordy, as I have been told in the past that I tend to be verbose. I have been making an effort to tighten up my writing. June 2020 - Chapter 13 of Eeman is now up. I cannot believe how many followers I have here! Thank you! May 2020 - I am enjoying posting and need to finish Eeman before starting on a new story. Eeman means 'safe' in Persian (known as Farsi in the Persian language.) Update (April 2020) - It will exceed 40,000. Probably 50,000? I have not finished it yet! I have re-written some chapters three times now. Finally I decided that it just must let it start to go out into the world. I have had an account here since at least 2011, started reading as a guest occasionally as early as 2002, but my account says 2014. It is now 2020 and I have been writing since Oct 2019. I used to write all the time years ago. I've been busy with other things in life, but yes, I have decided to get back to doing thing for myself. I have missed my writer self, and I have been obsessively reading fanfiction for the last several months. I tend to obsess over editing, but after my re-write is done, I will have a 40,000 word fanfiction story to post. I need to have it complete before I start posting chapters, partly because I get super annoyed by some stories that have an interesting premise and decent grammar, and then there are two chapters and we are left hanging for 15 years. I cannot have that happen with my stories. I have been reading Harry Potter fanfiction lately, but I have historically read Anne of Green Gables (actually, I have read the ones based off the books since 2002 or so,) The Brady Bunch (I adored reruns of this while growing up), and others. |
