I'm Nadia, and I write novels. But I got my start writing Dragonball Z fanfics on this website, when I was just a little girl. =)

Thirty Minutes to Heartbreak is my biggest story. I have made many really amazing friends from chatting with readers over the years! Now, I suppose this is a profile, so I should say a little about me. I have been looking for over a decade, but I still haven't found my Trunks. =( Where is he? Sheesh! I love having real-life adventures, but my insatiable thirst for danger always gets me in over my head. Honestly, I always walk down the darkest alleys and choose the worst men. So, I try to fill up my schedule by writing all day, every day to keep myself out of trouble. :) I also have very few real friends and family, so I get to experience human relationships through my characters. It can be really satisfying. But sometimes it's not.

I am proud to say that I am now officially a full-time author! I write long, sweeping fantasy series which you can read to escape and lose yourself for days. Wow, that was a lot of information!

My head is spinning a little. I certainly have a lot more stuff to write here than I did when I was younger.

But this is something that's the same: If you've ever left me a thoughtful review here, I want to officially send you a hug for encouraging me in the passion that would become my career. Writing was never a "hobby" nor was it ever what I merely did-- it has always been everything to me.

Loud Silence: I began this when I was a wee kidlet, but I put a lot of heart into this story! The beginning might be slow, but after a few chapters this one gets really exciting and romantic. I WILL get back to writing this someday. It has never left my thoughts.

Thirty Minutes to Heartbreak: I began writing this in 2011 after a bad breakup. I didn't intend for it to get so huge and out of control. It was just supposed to be a bit of fun and stress relief, but it ended up consuming my life. I love a story that comes out of nowhere and hits you in the face and makes you write. :) I hope you'll enjoy it. I temporarily had taken it off this website when I began adapting it for an original story, but I recently put it back up here. The old reviews are all saved in my Facebook group. ADVICE TO NEW WRITERS:

Okay, I know that some of you on this website are aspiring writers. I know because dozens of you have told me about your "dreams" for "someday." Stop that. Stop dreaming about someday. If you want to write, write. This website is great for practice and getting feedback in a safe environment, but you eventually need to break away and stand on your own two feet. Do you have excuses? You're too young, you're in school, you're not good enough-- well, here's an eye opener: it's never easy for anyone to write. Professional adult writers often have to start while they are maintaining a full time job AND taking care of kids. They just find a few spare minutes each day, and write as much as they can.

I might seem successful to you, at least compared to many other fanfic writers. Well, here's the secret: I work my ass off. I give my stories 100% of my effort, always. I love writing--I am so grateful that I can finally call it my career and make a living from selling books. But there's so much more to learn and achieve, and I've only just gotten started. It's more than a job. It's an adventure.

So just get started. Write as much as you can. Practice, practice, practice, and try your best to make your readers happy. Be thankful for all the feedback you receive. Work your ass off. Write every day. My maximum writing speed is about 1,000 words per hour. Usually, it's about half that. On a bad day, I can get 2-3K words written, but on a really good day, I can get 7-10K words written. I'm still struggling to have more consistent good days.
