Oh boy, where do I even start with all the questionable things so far.

Why does Pan have to hide herself? Why is she scared of "changing the future"? Future Trunks was originally scared because he wasn't born yet, and it was a very real possibility that future knowledge would prevent his existence. Now, Trunks didn't try to NOT interfere with the timeline. He just made sure that his parents didn't know who he was and make a choice that would prevent his birth.

Pan has already been born. She can't stop her own birth. And she really can't stop the birth of everyone else. Even if she changes the past, it would be for the better, or neutral. There is no reason to isolate herself.

Next, why does she have to stay in the capsule time-machine? Can't she just go to Kami's place and hang out there?

Next, let's assume she need to hide herself. Why would she go to the SAME city as where her family is? That's outright retarded.

Why can't she fly? You don't need that much Ki to fly. It's not like flying would attract any attention.

Why did she not notice Goten and Trunks ki in the ice cream shop? They didn't hide their Ki before. How is she surprised by them?

It seems like you didn't actually think through your story very much, and just pushed the plot forward. You can't do that.

Why IS she so scared? Seriously? Pan has no reason to treat this as anything other than a walk in the park. So WHY IS SHE BREAKING DOWN?

That is SO out of character. Why are you even writing Pan in the first place if this isn't even her?

Honestly, first few sentences, and I already kind of hate this. Pan apparently just have an unexplained crush that lasted for 10 years on someone. And that is literally the first thing (and thus apparently the most important thing) said about this fanfic. Then what happens? We go through her training (meaningless, except for the fact that she will be skilled), and then some more romantic drama that is literally meaningless.

You can cut out most of this chapter, and the story would be better.

So Trunks likes Pan, and Pan likes Trunks, and neither of them told each other. Pan makes sense because of the age gap, Marron, etc, but Trunks...why didn’t he say anything? He waited seventeen years for her but he went out with Marron? Did Pan go out with anyone?

Why is chapters one and two (?) stuck together when you could have just put chapter two in its own category? That really throws me off...actually. That was a bit too short to be a chapter, so maybe you could have just used that cool line breaker you made?

Other than that, amazing chapter! I expect great things from this being that it’s among the highest rated fanfictions of the T/P fandom,

Good story

I too had a bout of nostalgia. I turned 26 today and wanted to finish re-reading one of my favorite fics from my younger years. I was in middle school when this came out. It struck me that Pan was 25 and I was shocked because I had thought 25 was so far away haha! Woah... I wonder if I can find my old review of it in the mass of reviews here!

Anyway, I loved it then and I love it now! Such good writing and eloquent prose. This story stuck with me because I consider it one of the best in the fandom, if not in fandom itself. It's so good, the plot is strong, and the characters are believable in so many ways. Thank you again for writing this piece. It's amazing.

And who knows? Maybe in 10 years I'll re-read it again! I'll be sure to leave another review if I do.

I know that it's probably been a really long time since you've thought of fan fiction, let alone Dragon Ball Z. But I just wanted to let you know that after getting a random fit of nostalgia last night, I decided to re-read Waiting, and it really helped an otherwise boring shift at work fly by.

It was a really strange feeling to re-read this story from an older perspective. I was 16 or 17 years old when I read Waiting. I'm 28 now. I remembered thinking that 25 years old is old, practically ancient, even. Lol. What I'd give to be 25 again.

Anyway, I hope that wherever you are, whatever you up are up to, you are doing well.

This is, by far, the best T/P fanfic I have ever read! I don't know why, but I kept avoiding it cause I didn't think it would be that good. I kept coming across it and after reading the reviews, which were all positive, I decided to give it a chance. And I'm so glad I did because I was missing out before. I think you are undeniably the queen/king of T/P fanfics and I bow down to you!

The drama is so overwhelming, the plot using the time machine thing is really good! There are a lot of really funny humors, too, including Vegeta's talk about the falseness of Saiyan Mating Ritual, puking on the minister at wedding, and the headlines about 'every single women mourns' hahahaha.. You're so ingenious!

I really like how you describe the characters, not only Trunks and Pan, but the others as well, especially Goten.
