First of all, if you think I'm going to mention my real name or other personal information here, you're not nearly paranoid enough.

December 25, 2018 Notice: Merry Christmas all, and a Happy New Year! Here's to a new year of more writing, less stress. (And this time I mean it!)

Now. A couple of points I feel the need to point out, to avoid any future issues. Before anyone asks, I don't do collaborative work. I don't mind other people using elements of my stories, but I do not work with others directly. No offense to anyone else, not a commentary on anyone else's writing quality, I simply don't work well with others.

By the same token, I don't do requests. For the same reasons as above, and because I have little enough time to work on my own ideas as it is.

Secondly: this Shark welcomes constructive criticism. Constructive criticism has made me the writer I am today, after some early trainwrecks I don't really like to acknowledge. However, if your "criticism" is laced with obscenities, or does not actually make a point beyond "Your story sucks!", or, more likely, both, I won't even bother to finish reading your statement. If you want me to take you seriously, be reasonable and polite. I will do the same, and if I believe the criticism has merit -as has often been the case in the past- I will amend my work accordingly.

Short version: "@$#@!" = I will pay you no attention, will block you from leaving signed reviews, and will delete anonymous reviews with extreme prejudice.

"I think you should rethink X, and for Y reasons." = I will take it under careful advisement. Thank you.
