I think I understand why the story died. The crossover elements didn't blend in well because the wanking was in favor of the Nanoha side and thus putting the presence of Dresden there in question. If the only thing he could do was being a good guy, then that's not really a plot driver. Any interesting variable which could have been brought over from the Dresdenverse was made uninteresting because Nanohaverse elements simply made them mundane. However, that I think was more of a result of author appeal.

Plus, the Dresden here isn't anything like the Dresden who overthrew 'He Who Walks Behind.'

Nanoha... If you were listening you should have realized, this is the guy who functionally set up an equation that sent a supercomputer on the run around for 30 minutes... Using the equivalent of an abacus for everything except getting the last piece of Sympathetic connection. And that last part is likely how they found them. (Trace Raising Heart.)

While he might not know as much "advanced" stuff as you do, he knows the basics far better than you. I'm also a bit worried and interested to see what happens if he ever gets his hands on something that specializes in "thermal" magic. Especially if it's robust enough to handle the crazy variability that Harry likes for that particular spell.

I also wonder how the potions compare between the two series...

I know Harry doesn't like Soul-Staring but trying to defend an accused murderer... That might be an easier way of knowing how far he could trust her since Molly's also involved now.

hmm,maybe Nanoha should change/rename Raising hearts name a bit like "Raising heart Exelion SS" or something so that it wont being forcibly shut down by someone else...
