Greetings. I'm Wild Goose, and I've been hanging around since 2002, and writing on and off since then. I'm currently working, and don't have as much time for writing fanfics as I once had, though I'm making an effort to write every day...

I'm Malaysian, though you wouldn't realise it if you heard me speak, haha. After something of a dry spell in writing, I've been writing a bit more than before... unfortunately, most of it is quest write-ins or omakes/sidestories for other people's fanfics that I like. :p

The Writing:

The biggest project on my plate at the moment is the restart of The Greatest Generation, a Kantai Collection fanfic originally written by sasahara17, before it passed to my hands, given I was his original beta on that story. I'm now Comrade Archivist and the face of the GG rewrite committee and have purged the committee before taking time off to visit my lakeside dacha and remain on good terms with the committee. :p Currently we're roughly halfway through the original story and we're revising the earlier chapters of the story in preparation for realignment of the story and new chapters, which will come when they come.

To the disappointment of many people (including myself), GG is currently on hiatus; originally I'd thought that only minor, subtle, somewhat cosmetic edits would need to be made, but I grossly underestimated the amount of work that will need to be done. The hope is that when it returns from hiatus, GG will be better than what it was.

Other likes and interests:

Cool planes are always fun, hence my love of Top Gun (Just Plane Wrong aside), Area 88, Ace Combat and Yukikaze. Strategy games are fun, but as I grow older and become less capable of micromanaging, I find I prefer FPSes, if only because any mistake you make can be mitigating by dakka and liberal application of grenades! :p I also run an Armored Warfare Battalion, mess around with Phantasy Star Online 2, and at one point was playing Warframe every day for almost 2 years.

Also, and I cannot recommend this story enough, is The Miracle at Palaven, which is probably the best Mass Effect 3 fanfic I read in 2012-2013. And the best part: It's complete.
