Hello, everyone!

I am TearStainedAshes and I am a budding author/novelist/journalist, but apparently all I seem to be able to write is Fan Fiction. At least it's good practice for the writing I'll be doing later in life.

I am a college student in Michigan, USA and am actually studying Creative Writing. Yes, I plan on doing this for a living. Writing fanfiction in my spare time and hopefully creating popular novels for the rest of my life. I was originally going to be a teacher, but my junior year I broke down a month into the semester and just couldn't take all that needed to be done in order to get to that point. So, now I'm going to get a degree in my first love: reading and writing. If all goes according to plan and I pass all my remaining classes, I'll be graduating in May 2016. Fingers crossed!

My Snape's Daughter story is currently being rewritten because I started it when I was 19. Now that I'm 24, not only has my writing style improved but my immaturity and just overall inexperience with writing is gone and matured and developed. So I'm rewriting it when I have the time and motivation to write something that isn't Johnlock related (which isn't often, but it does happen), and I'm hoping to continue it once the chapters have been rewritten and edited and improved.

I have written four stories with my best friend and co-writer, Acemindpalace, whom I met through tumblr. Three of our four stories are still in progress. They are:

Currently, I am stressing over my final year in college and so writing and reading have been set on the backburner until I have the time. Which I probably won't until winter break (late Dec. 2015 to early Jan. 2016), spring break (early March 2016), or after my graduation (early May 2016). So I'm sorry if I don't update my fics as often as I used to, or if I don't answer a message or respond to a prompt... promptly. Heh. I'm rather busy with school and work right now, and those are my number one priorities until I enter the "real world" and emerge as an "adult." So, until then, I hope you all enjoy the stories I have published and I look forward to publishing more works in the future.
