Author has written 5 stories for Inuyasha, Bleach, Harry Potter, Kekkaishi, and Katekyo Hitman Reborn!. Important Information: 26 October 2012: I won't be updating any time soon and will set my status to hiatus till the end of January next year. Please, do continue to show your support alright! I'm currently doing fine in my internship - I have a patient supervisor who teaches me so many things, nice colleagues who make my stay there enjoyable and of course, I'm having lots of fun there! 7 April 2013: Hurray? Chapter 14 for Caught in the Fray is finally up No more being stuck at 13 My status is still set to hiatus because I'm currently working and hardly have time for writing. And can you believe it? I'm working as a student care teacher! It's tough, taking care of the New Generation of kids because they're just... unbelievable. Like how Hermione described Tsuna in the Chapter 14. Okay that's lame. I also removed one of my stories, In the depth of Truth, because I really don't know what I want to do with it... which led to... the deletion :( 6 April 2014: LOL so it took me a year to put up a new chapter! ONE YEAR! Yatta? Anyway sorry for being missing for so long, hope no one forgot about my stories. Many things happened in the past year which had a great impact in my life. My grandparents died two months apart and I miss them so much... Learn to cherish your family when they're around. 15 April 2014: Just an announcement, Caught in the Fray has found a beta-reader! *throws confetti* After coming back from my hiatus, I felt like I've lost my command of English and can only use very simple terms to describe the scenes. As though Kami and Merlin knew, an awesome reader gave me her thoughts on the current progression of the story and even graciously offered her help in helping me improve it. CITF definitely has room for improvement and the potential to become better, so without hesitation I accepted her offer! Without further ado, I shall take my leave... and draft up the next chapter for my awesome beta to improve on it. Everyone, check out Magical-Tear! If you wanna chat, I'm available through PMs. An alternative way would be through Facebook (Fanamaniac) since I regular there more than on FanFiction. I'll always(almost) be there to entertain any questions and have fun as well. I recently tried to blog, so if you're interested, come and find me on Tumblr (spherelogyy), which is seldom updated... Follow me on instagram instead: @spherelogyy Long story cut short, the pen name's Fanamaniac. I have no idea why I chose that name either. I feel like changing it now... but I don't know what to change to. I'm a female and am of a legal age but still a child at heart. I'm more of a gamer in a sense... and I like to read fanfiction stories only. No, that does not mean that I am a nerd XD Oh and right, I'm from Singapore and from what you may know, we're famous for our Singlish language and I use them everyday, although I try to avoid those slangs and stuff in my stories. I'm Chinese, and I like to speak in mixed Mandarin and English so sometimes I'll express some stuff weirdly. I'm poor at my languages however and sadly, but numbers and science work well with me. If anything sounds weird, it's not you, it might be me. Fun fact: I tried to cheat on my Chinese tests in the past by peeking at my neighbour's answers but it turned out that I failed those tests as well, because I copied the wrong answers *facepalm* I-It was too far for me to see! But apparently after I found it too troublesome to keep peeking at their answers and decided to do them on my own, I passed :3 I don't like to use vulgarities because I believe that the use of vulgarities do not make you a winner. However, that does not mean that you can cross the line. Treat others like how you want others to treat you. Other than that, I'm up for any conversation and I always welcome new friends. I try to make it a point to review the stories that I have read and I give my sincere thoughts, be it good or bad. That is what I would like to receive in return if you do review in mine. I like it when your reviews help me improve, because I'm still a novice writer. Reviews make the writer feel good. It's always good to know that there are people out there who enjoyed your story. However, if you do, please try to log in so that I'll be able to reply to your review. I'm kinda disappointed at the recent quality of stories being uploaded nowadays. The stories are all over the place! I remembered the thrill of reading stories back then... Now, I can't finish reading a story without leaving halfway D: So just for fun, why not have a taste of experiencing Singlish/the kind of language I use everyday first-hand? Well, here goes: Seriously la, it's not very easy to like "translate" proper English to Singlish sia. Why leh you may ask? Cos it's like you have to go to the extra mile just to make it seem Singlish but in fact, it's more like you just add extra words to the sentences. So why so waste time and energy sia? Might as well use this time taken to write a new story right. Sibei waste time also lor. Dunno why I suddenly feel like doing this. Must be my brain sot sot liao. ...Actually ah, I cannot specifically use Singlish... it must come out naturally when I'm chatting with my friends. That is the moment when I start to unleash my true potential. Not geng one hor, true one hor I tell you. Although still have more Singlish that I never cover, I can't find the right sentence to fit them in, because they are mostly used for replies. Example: "Eh you go out sing k (karaoke), bojio! You think I transparent meh? I stand in front of you, you ask them never ask me. Some brother sia." "Oi bro! Not that I never see you la! Every time I jio you out you say not free not free. Fine la, so today free la ah? Want go sing not?" Well then, try to decipher the above. Can read not? I'm pretty sure it's still legible, since I never really use those very chim chim style like mix Chinese and Hokkien. Hopefully, this standard is passable as a brief intro to our lingo (just my usage only ah, not an interpretation of all how the other Singaporeans speak hor!) and not frustrating the hell out of you guys. Cheers for Singlish! Phew! Talking Singlish to myself is hard! I have to think of a topic and start exchanging words with myself, which is kinda lame. Anyway, that is just a small taste of Singlish. If you don't understand a word that was exchanged... feel free to PM me to get the full picture, or you could learn Singlish yourselves, which is quite easy to pick up IMO. Another interesting approach Ways to express yourself in Singlish with the word: Can. Can meh? - Is it possible? My Stories I currently have 2 ongoing fics now. I hope you guys will review and help me improve on it! :) P.S. I do not have a wide range of vocabulary so my stories might not be as descriptive as you hope it might be. However, I pay much attention to my grammar as I simply dislike those mistakes in my stories. Oh and I would like to thank my younger brother here who always look through my chapters to add in improvements although he always claims to be not interested with whatever I write. Chocolate Treat: Bleach Fanfic (Whee! Completed, 16 Oct 2011. Revision completed, 19 March 2012.) Summary: An inspiration from Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. The fight for the Pawprint begins. The starting of the story is a little like the book but as it goes on, more exciting stuff will reveal. You'll have to read to find out! Not a yuri though, although there might be slight hints. Might be writing an epilogue. Caught in the Fray: Harry Potter and Katekyo Hitman Reborn Crossover Summary: Voldemort has returned and the Boy-Who-Lived is in danger once more. A call for help to the Vongola Family but will the two worlds set aside their differences and work together to overthrow the evil forces of the Dark Lord? Mostly Tsuna-centric but would still include the others' POV. Takes place in the fifth book but I might be mixing the events around using the other books as well. Heart of Destruction: Kekkaishi and Bleach Crossover (The second priority but do leave a review if you want me to continue this as I would spend more time on the above story) Summary: Kokuboro has a new ally and it spells doom for the Kekkaishis. Featuring Grimmjow. Is Grimmjow really an enemy? Yaoi I guess. I'll try my best at romance because I suck at that XD Writing has never been my forte; I haven't been writing ever since like what? 2 years ago? But now that I've picked it up, I don't intend to put it down. I'm not a person of words but I will say it if I have something on my mind. I may think a lot but thinking helps keep my brain alive. I may be weird but at least I am unique in my own way. Got a problem? Deal with it. |
