The Sacred Jewel is a horrible temptation to ordinary people but for Wizards is highly dangerous.

I wonder what is Kagome’s role on this because Wizards can’t be trusted it was stated that the Sacred Jewel tempted every living thing with its power.

I don’t understand why it wasn’t destroyed it is too dangerous for anyone it brings misery to everyone.

I never understood why Harry was such a closed-mouthed little emo in canon. Why not tell Kagome that Draco sabotages the trio in class, attempts to frame the trio so that they get in trouble, participates in the abuse and murder of intelligent magical creatures, and frequently states that mudbloods should be killed or chased out of the magical world? Meanwhile Draco's father was a follower of LV in the last war, uses blackmail, threats and bribes to control British politics, maliciously sends innocent men to prison, and attempted to kill Ginny and Harry two years previous.

But Draco is just misunderstood... Ha! If Finch was good looking I wonder how many fans would come up with a tragic backstory and heart-of-gold for the cranky caretaker.

(Its late. I'm tired and in a bad mood. Perhaps that is a but too much "venting " and not enough "reviewing " in this post...)

This was very good, a bit too much for me with the relationship stuff between 14 year olds but it could be because I am just old. I would really like to read more of this story so I hope it will be continued

I would have preferred it if Harry liked Kagome instead especially since she is actually older and probably wouldn't be able to just fall for him without seeing him as someone younger than her by a few years

I have been kinda hoping that somehow Kagome would end up being related to Sirius

Honestly, perhaps the stupidest part of the whole method of sorting is EVERYONE should have at least part of the traits of all the houses, if not necessarily strongly, so the whole thing is kind of stupid.

I love this story, I can't wait to find out if I'm right about Sirius being Kagome's father, you certainly do seem to drop a lot of hints towards that being the case. You're a great writer :)

To think, I recently reread the story just a while ago only to miss this update!
Oh, well, better late than never, as they say. And this was just the pick-me-up I needed, so it all works out!
I'm going to admit, this one was a tearjerker for me. I'm not lying. The feels of this one, just perfect. Along with the way you captured Harry's character; the side that obviously truly cares for Kagome but also that slightly suspicious nature due to Voldemort's interference in the last four years of his life. Makes me either want to coo at how adorable he is or throttle him and tell him to just, stop being an idiot when it comes to Kagome. But the two of them cuddling helped ease that up a bit. Hopefully it'll hold off everyone, myself included, up until the next chapter.
With that said, hope everything is good on your end, enjoyed the chapter, and keep up the great work.
