Hi, turtlegirl42 here. As you can see, over the past year or so (has it really been almost a year? Wow..) I have been reading and writing fan-fiction. You can also see that I write mostly Spider-Man stories, but I also write other stuff. Mostly science-fiction stories... I am also a beta-reader now. So if you are in need of a beta-reader, shoot me a pm or an e-mail and I'll see what I can do for you... :)

I am a teenager who is currently attending a prestigious college as a freshman. From what I've seen of other people's profiles, college seems to hinder their fan-fiction writing. Sadly, this will probably be true for me as well. But that doesn't mean that I won't do what I can! I won't fall off the face of the earth; I promise. :P

Some things you might want to know about me...

My Favorite Movies: Spider-Man 2, Star Wars, Dragonheart, Finding Forrester, any James Bond movie, nearly any superhero movie, anything with Sean Connery in it, etc, etc.

My Favorite Television Shows: CSI (the original), Scrubs, Monk, House, M.D., and Big Bang Theory. Can you tell I don't watch television too much?

My Favorite Musicians: Five For Fighting, Green Day, Linkin Park, Billy Joel, 70s music through today. I'll listen to just about anything except for country or rap.

My Favorite Books: Anything by Neil Gaiman, Neil Schusterman, or ANY (and I mean ANY) science-fiction short story. I also like J.R.R. Tolkien, and comic books. Oh, don't even get me started on comic books!! I could go on for hours about the wonders of Spider-Man, Iron Man, The Fantastic Four, the X-Men... Watchmen. ESPECIALLY Watchmen. My favorite comic book villain would have to be Doctor Octopus, my favorite hero Spider-Man or Nite Owl... My favorite X-Man would have to be Professor X...

Current Projects

The Haunting of Pier 56--This is the story I update the most because I enjoy writing it the most. I have now published Chapter 8 and 9, but I don't know when Chapter 10 will be uploaded. Also note that there is fan art for this story on DeviantArt; drawn by a friend of mine. It is on my profile, though.

Misconceptions-- Still working on this. I think that this may end up being much more than what I had expected. We'll see... This has been becoming quite fun.

An Interesting Encounter-- Rest assured, I AM WORKING ON THIS!! Chapter 6 is now up. :) Now I just have to start working on Chapter 7... Which I am working on currently. I am in the market for a beta-reader for this story. Interested? Pm me.

Let's Play Ball-- This is a collaborative effort with my sister, Spittlebug. We haven't been working on it lately, but we will do our best... We're working on Chapter 5 now.

A Prank Gone Wrong-- Basically, I write this when I have writer's block and/or too lazy to write my other stories... It's quite fun to write... I will gladly take suggestions for pranks, because I am at a loss for pranks to write about.

One-Shots/Completed Stories/Other

Two Old Friends-- A SpiderMan two shot, this story explores the complicated friendship between Doc Ock and Doctor Curt Connors. Now complete.

Dirty Laundry-- I have no interest in expanding this. So I believe this is a completed one-shot.

Devastated-- This is on hiatus; I don't know when I'll come around and pick this back up. I do plan on finishing it; just not right now.

Marvel: Apocalypse-- I may end up writing this eventually. We shall see; it's a good idea and has a lot of potential.

Missing A Friend-- My first-ever piece of fanfiction on this site, this is a one-shot and complete.

A Superhero's Holiday-- Another collaborative effort with Spittlebug. Hey, who knows? When this holiday season rolls around, we just might write some more of these.
