![]() Author has written 27 stories for CSI, and Harry Potter. Hi. So I realized I hadn't updated this in forever, and that most of my information was incorrect. My name is Nicole, and I'm a 23 year old college student (on her last semester!). I've been married about a month to my wonderful husband, Nick, and we live with our puppy, Malu, who is getting to be not-such-a-puppy anymore. I read CSI fiction, primarily, and a few other fandoms, occassionally, but I only really have it in me to write CSI. I don't feel like I can improve on anything J.K. Rowling wrote to write Harry Potter (whereas TPTB have failed me often, where CSI is concerned), and though I once attempted a crossover between CSI and House, I mostly spent days trying to find an ailment for Grissom and come up with the proper case twists and symptoms, before giving up at my lack of medical knowledge. :( I ship GSR, although for a really good writer I've been known to read other pairings. Myself, I only really write GSR. What can I say? I have a one-tracked mind. Also, I have many WIPs. I'm sorry about that. Early on, when I began posting, I got so excited about reviews that I posted everything I'd started, thinking I would for certainly finish all of them, even if I didn't really know where I was going with them. I'm actively working on three that are posted (All That Glitters, The Path Ahead, and Attrition), and two that are not, and the others are kind of in a state of stasis. Once I finish those three (or five... One of the unposted being a one-shot that's half-finished, the other I'm hoping to get up before the year is out...), I plan to take down Time and the Entomologist and completely rewrite it from scratch. I have a rewritten beginning already, with a much more feasible time-travelling scenario, I just need to have the time to map out the details exactly, because I'm so worried I'll make a mistake with a detail in the whole time-travelling thing. Something will exist in one time that shouldn't because of something that changed in a trip back in time, or something, and the whole plot will fall apart. So I need to be dedicated to just that story before I tackle it. (The husband is grateful--I won't watch The Time Traveller's Wife until I finish this story, and he was dreading it. Lol.) After that, I can't promise anything. I would love to pick up some of my earlier stories, but I hardly go a week without writing an idea down for a story to be written later, when I have the time for it. We'll see what happens. Anyway, hope you enjoy my fanfiction. Leave a review if you do! I think my long list of unfinished work is testament enough to how much I enjoy them. :) |
