I'm Brenda, or SquishyCool. I'm a Scorpio Sun/Aries Moon and a Slytherin/Pukwudgie. My birthday is November 18th, 1991. I was born and raised in Kansas but I moved to Reno, Nevada in July of 2012 and then relocated to Las Vegas in April of 2013. I live with my incredible boyfriend and our dog and I work as a cashier at Smith's Food and Drug Stores. I smoke marijuana and watch a lot of television and movies. I don't have children and I don't want any.
I've been writing fanfiction since about 2005. I joined the iCarly fandom in 2007 and the bulk of my pieces are for that fandom. I've written for a couple of other fandoms, though, and enjoy reading from a few different ones.
I joined The Walking Dead fandom around the same time most other Beth/Daryl shippers did - right after their incredible episodes in season 4. They are my current focus and obsession, if you can't tell. Although I will always love TWD as a whole - I have been a die-hard fan of the comics/show/games since 2011. But no one made me want to ship or write fanfic until Bethyl came along :)

Any unfinished stories are permanently "in progress" and if they remain posted here, I haven't officially given up on any of them.
If you notice, my writing has varied greatly over the years. I continue trying my hardest to develop my skills every day, but I won't delete any of my older stories just because they're not written quite as well as a newer story. I'm proud of everything I've published here and I think it's nice to be able to go back and look at how I've changed and progressed.

I have a dream of one day becoming a real published author. I appreciate every single review I receive and have never truly abandoned this site. I get email updates about any reviews, favorites, or messages I get here, so feel free to contact me if you have any questions whatsoever or even if you just want to chat about something (you can also find me on Twitter under the same username).

January '09 - ShatteredDiamonds, Ad Astra Per Aspera
For the first time in the iCarly fandom, I got a fic dedicated to me! And by an amazing author (ShatteredDiamonds), nonetheless. It's called Ad Astra Per Aspera and I highly suggest you read it (by clicking on the link): not just because it's dedicated to me, but because it's by far one of the best fics I've ever read. Very memorable! It's dramatic, graphic, realistic, and wonderful! It's also her baby, and I can see why. She worked extremely hard on it, and you can tell when you read it. This author is a great reviewer of fics, and also a great writer who appreciates great reviews. I'm basically in love with her - in a writer sort of way, of course! :3
She has other fantastic fics, as well. I firstly recommend Rain, which is one of my favorite chaptered fics of all time; it's a Sam-centric fic where Sam disappears and Carly and Freddie must delve into an underground world to find her; this underground world contains some of the best OC's I've ever seen (Ringer and Speed are so great!). It's the fic that got me interested in her stuff. I also recommend Mistakes Aren't Always Regrets, a Cam fic that is definitely in the Top 3 Best Cam Fics I've Ever Read. Her stuff is dramatic and real, raw and enthralling, and completely worth your time. I feel so honored to have such amazing work dedicated to me. :D

April '09 - nochi_san, Angel Wings
I wrote this Cam fic called There For You (and its follow-up, All Around Me), in which I depict a scene where Carly is an angel with magnificent wings. Well, this super amazing girl (nochi_san) who read it just had to draw the image, and this is what came of it: Angel Wings! I absolutely love it, and I'm so honored to have something drawn to go along with one of my fics. It's basically exactly how I pictured it in my head, and it's just perfect! This girl is talented and amazing! :)

July '09 - Coldbloodonmysword, iRradiated
This person (Coldbloodonmysword) wrote a really awesome story (iRradiated) which contains some of my characters and plot from my fic KCJDC! It's a really cool story and they used my stuff really well, so you should definitely read it.
