okay i have no idea why i woke up today and decided, hey i want to check out some icarly fanfiction, i wonder what's going on over in that fandom. i don't know why, but i did, and i stumbled across this incredible one-shot. i'm so glad of that. this is a read that will stick with me for quick awhile.

first, the intro made everything feel so familiar. it has the same essence of the show because of the way you incorporated socko. the "brother has this friend who knows this guy who is neighbors with a woman who heard" line is everything. it's nice that you introduced the main plot in the beginning of the story, which is rare in the fanfiction style of dramatic line break. usually this style aims to make the reader experience shock value but lacks the mold of an actual plot. sometimes this style has a plot but introduces it too late into the story. i think you made a great writing decision to include a fast-forward first, and then go back in time to place the stepping stones of how it got to that point afterward. and woah, was this an amazing idea.

the popsicle scene! adorable, and again has that /feel/ of the show. it's as if one of the producers wrote this, it's so believable. "look at the box. Purple flavored. Dig in, Spence." love this line!

the description of the graduation party is done so well. i love how you included carly, freddie, gibby, mrs. benson, et cetera. you established a great picture of what everyone was doing, and i like that because it doesn't just focus on the two main characters and what they're up to.

honestly i could make this review a mile long. there are an infinite amount of things that stood out as brilliant about this, but i'll talk about the section i particularly felt. obviously the moment when spencer got the proof from socko was ... real. real as in i felt everything he was feeling; his guilt, lust, anger, confusion, all those delicious emotions were written out in a way so raw i felt i was intruding on his privacy. "she's all skin skin naked skin and sweet strong curves and peaks and valleys and long blonde hair and parted red mouth" beautiful line! i would have never thought to describe a woman's body with the terms "peaks" or "valleys" but those are such gorgeous, fitting illustrations. this fanfiction is without flaw and so, so original. kudos!

This was not weird in the least bit. I loved it! So amazing, and completely believable. For some reason, I could totally see Sam getting into porn, but it just never seemed to cross my mind. Your writing is so beautiful, btw. This was a joy to read and I'm glad the ending was happy .

This was for sure one of-if not the- set spam fanfiction I've ever read. I absolutely love your style and the way you structured this story- you are a very talented writer. This is such a good story and it made me happy and relieved to start reading it and realize that it wasn't just another story where Sam and Spencer "love" each other and Carly has problems with it and tries to break them up, or something trivial like that. Your story was beautifully written and of such raw emotion, it was both entertaining and artistic and I loved it. Keep up the fantastic writing ;)

Maybe weird, but not in a bad way, and also painful and beautiful. You definitely have a style. I like it. I'm gonna recommend you read something by Panache, who is an author on this site. Because chances are there's at least one show you're both interested in, and her work is painful and beautiful as well. It breaks my heart and puts it back together again. All the best stories do. And it's really nice to see more mature iCarly fanfics, with the characters growing up and having lives and complications and issues that do or don't get dealt with. It's hard to find grown-up works about a kid's show. I am really grateful. So, please keep writing. Oh, and I'm going to recommend you to Panache, so tell me if you end up getting married or something.

I can't believe I never commented on this story...I could've sworn I had, hmm. That's besides the point, this is honestly one of my favorite Spam stories, it's brazen and honest and contains actual emotions as opposed to the writings of a horny twelve year old. It's raw and picturesque and not at all weird, but completely lovely. :)

I thought it was actually pretty good. Except one little think, carly would have to be crazy to go to Yakima for her spring break for senior year. I grew up there and it sucks nothing to do at all. But good story. )

Oh my goodness, oh my goodness, oh my goodness! How could you call this crap! Are you completely BLIND to your work! I LOVED this! It was so beautiful and bittersweet and so Spencer/Sam it was perfect! Your use of words is fantastic, I'm sorely jealous! I wish I could be as discriptive as you. Reading the summery and getting about mid-way of the story you clearly inturpret a sad, dismal story yet in a lovely way and all I could think of was I hope this has a happy ending, PLEASE let it have a happy ending! Which of course you did, thank you for that.) And Spencer and Sam were perfectly IC I could so see this playing out perfectly. Like a scene from one of the last eps of iCarly that we'll never get to see cause...you know...its nick and all... But this review has gone on long enough so I'm gonna end it with 'I loved this' and 'Never stop writting...please.'-
