Flames and Criticism

Okay, just so I can get this off my chest, I want to talk about something to all hopeful writers on this site. If you are to get anywhere in this world you have to learn the difference between flames and constructive criticsim. Flames are something that have existed since the beginning of the Internet and continue to exist to this day. They are mostly made by people with puny minds and most likely insignificant genatalia. They are meant to piss off people for no reason except to start a "flame war". The smart thing to do is to just ignore it. Constructive criticism on the other hand, helps foster creativity and makes the person a better writer. The problem though is that people have a hard time recieving any kind of criticism and usually will lash out at those who are trying to help. As such here are examples of a flame and a constructive critique:

Flame: This story sux! iT sux, and is gey and you r gey too! i hope you die faggzor!

Constructive Critique: This is a good story, but it can be improved. Might I suggest (comments on improvement that can be done and along with some compliments on what the person likes and may not like and various suggestions.)

Note how the flame usually looks like a mentally handicapped monkey wrote it and how it is constantly misspelled and just plain idiotic looking. The constructive criticism on the other hand, is well written and positive. So for those who still can't take criticism even after this, I have one thing to say to you: Give up. Stop writing and leave this site, because people will always criticise you and you need to learn how to accept it for both the good and bad. If you can't handle it, then leave. Harsh words yes, but the truth is often times very harsh.
