Thanks, JustThisGuyYouKnow Quick Bio I am a fat old man, with a big white beard, who was born at the end of the first half of the last century, but for some reason I have become fascinated with a childrens' cartoon show, very strange. Hope you enjoy my stories. Thanks for stopping by. Update Hi All, About a year and a half ago I helped a friend who was shooting a film he wrote. It was a post Civil War story that takes place in California. I supplied some of the firearms used in the film, and I taught the actors how to hold and fire them and was the onset guy who loaded the blanks for the guns. We used my Colt Navy, my Rifle Musket, my Remington Army, and my Hawkin Flint Lock Rifle. If you are interested you can see pictures of these in my Gallery on Deviantart. There I am Theotherfatoldman http:/// I also did some research and found out about Sweeney Capsules. These are plastic spheres the size of paint balls. They come in two halves, and snap together. You fill them up with dirt or dust and shoot them out of a paint ball gun to simulate bullet hits. I bought some and used them on the film. The film is now finished and I saw it the other night. My Friend (Joseph) did a really good job on the film. It looks and sounds great. I was very impressed. There is also a trailer for the movie on the web site. I think Joseph put in every gunshot we used in the film in the trailer. It was a real pain to use black powder for all the blanks, including the shot gun blanks, but they look great in the movie. He has set up a web site for the film here http:///index.html And the trailer is here http:///media.html Please take a look. Thanks Justthisguyyouknow |
