If anyone cares to know, I don't have 'what I like to read' so much as 'what I dislike to read'. What I dislike is: pure romance, purposeless love triangles, dystopian -been overdone-, the plots that go ...but then he/she meets so-and-so and he/she must trust this untrustworthy person who is so obviously a love interest. I mean, I don't mind cliches here and there but seriously, if I can guess everything from just reading the back of the book what's the point?

-Writing

I write novels (unpublished because I, like pretty much every writer, doesn't think it's ready yet and is afraid to show it until it's perfect even though it's as good as it'll get). I write fanfiction just for fun and to relieve some stress.

-Anime

I prefer to watch anime than read manga because I like to see the characters to move and hear their voice. As for sub vs dub, depends on the anime.

While I watch a lot of anime, I find it difficult to write fanfiction about shows only 12-24 episodes long. Maybe it's because I don't get to see the characters as much as I would in a shonen anime.

As a quick heads up, most of my fics will not be pairings. I simply lack any romantic bones in my body (both emotionally and physically). So it's difficult for me to write about characters in a physically romantic way. Fluff (emotionally romantic) is a bit easier to fake, so that may show up, but don't hold your breath.

So what's left for me to write about? The most important thing...friendship! No, it'll mostly be comedy. Like the characters just putzing around doing silly shit or in (hopefully) hilarious situations. There may be an angst here and there, but like I said before: writing fanfiction is a fun way to detox from stress so it'll be light-hearted, funny stuff. That being said, my fics will likely be rated T or M for language.

My knowledge of pop culture (anything from movie stars, reality TV, athletes, musicians) is laughable. Seriously, for a good laugh ask me who's in the TOP 10 for music. I bet I can't name a single one.

My favorite characters are either: wearing glasses, is a smart ass, or uses swords. Usually the character has at least two of those traits, but if I can find a character that's actually all three, look out!
