Author has written 17 stories for Civilization Series, Bible, Underland Chronicles, Harry Potter, X-Men: Evolution, American McGee's Alice, Zootopia, Cthulhu Mythos, BioShock, Hunger Games, Rise of the Guardians, Pacific Rim, and inFAMOUS. Hello, I'm MartyrFan. It's now been four and a half years since I first created this profile; time for some editing. I've still got some pretty diverse interests in fanfiction, both reading and writing. My main interest, however, is the game series BioShock. It's pretty disturbing, but very well made. One of my projects right now is a crossover between BioShock and the Alice games by American McGee. Suffice it to say that Alice would do very well in Rapture. I've also got some good ideas for crossovers and other stories but those are currently on the backburner. I'll write as much as I can. My year and a half hiatus from WonderShock was due to a difficulty increase in my college classes, but now I'm done with a Bachelors degree. I'm focusing mainly on my summer job and on my search for a job in my field. I'll write when I can though. Like I said, I've got some diverse interests and here they are: Cartoons: Young Justice Star Wars: The Clone Wars Star Wars Rebels X-Men: Evolution Tron: Uprising Liberty's Kids The Batman (2004-2008) Avatar: The Last Airbender The Legend of Korra RWBY Authors: H.G. NOTPs: Alice Liddell/Angus Bumby (WTF?! Seriously people?! I've always liked X-Men: Evolution and one of my Favorite Authors, Beastbot X, is a master of writing fanfiction for the series. I definitely recommend him if you're a fan of the series. Just to warn you in advance, he is NOT afraid to kill off major characters or their relatives. Anyway, the following is a timeline that Beastbot X came up with for the Seasons 1-4 of XME. Season 1- Takes place in a nebulous time in the 2000-2001 school year, with no episodes occurring during the winter period. Season 2- Begins at the beginning of the next school year, stated as the "new semester" in the Season 2 premiere. A period of time has also passed since Season 1, given the sudden introduction of the New Mutants. This also explains why Kitty is no longer referred to as a freshman from this point on (and in fact is referred to as a sophomore in the first episode of Season 3). There's a Christmas episode in the middle of the season, so Season 2 extends from the beginning of the school year 2001 to sometime in the spring of 2002. Season 3- From the spring of 2002 to the end of the school year at the beginning of the summer--the season finale takes place during Jean and Scott's graduation. Season 4- It's specifically stated that the season premiere takes place 2 weeks after the season 3 finale. See his story "What Happened to Shadowcat?" for a complete explanation and for his reasoning for the timing. His continuation for the X-Men: Evolution series is stellar if you're interested. Headcanon Section Recently, I learned the term "headcanon" from my beta reader, Favorite Author, and soon-to-be co-writer, Scorpiofreak. Basically, it's all those little quirks and things that you give to both real fiction and fanfiction that isn't large enough for a fic, such as James Bond's favorite brand of cologne (if he has one in canon, I don't know about it). The following is all my headcanon for real fiction and fanfiction. BioShock Booker finds Anna in her crib after waking up from Elizabeth drowning him and can't help but always look over his shoulder, expecting Robert Lutece to be asking for her. After Fontaine's death, the Luteces send Jack to save Elizabeth via Vita-Chamber. After bringing her back, Jack takes her to the surface. She helps him with taking care of the former Little Sisters he adopted, three of which are Masha, Leta, and Sally. Eventually, they fall in love and marry. Jack became a religious man upon returning from Rapture because of the horrible things that he had seen in the city without God or kings, only Man. He also has nightmares of the "W-Y-K" phrase, and the only person who can comfort him is Elizabeth. One of the constants is that Eleanor always seeks out Jack. The motive depends on which one is good or evil, or if both of them are one of the alignments. The neutral ending for BioShock happens in the universes where Jack initially harvests the Little Sisters, but turns over a new leaf in the aftermath of Fontaine's betrayal. This Jack Ryan would be especially guilt-ridden over the Little Sisters that he did harvest. The neutral endings for BioShock 2 happen in the universe where Delta harvests all of the Little Sisters except for Cindy Meltzer. He does this after killing her father, Mark Meltzer, who was also her Big Daddy. Knowing her name and seeing the love of her father, Delta cures her instead of harvesting her. Pacific Rim Soon after the Breach is closed, Mako and Raleigh begin dating and are eventually married. They spearhead the next generation of Jaeger pilots as the world prepares for a second Kaiju invasion. Harry Potter Scorpio Malfoy and Rose Weasely begin dating in fifth year, much to the chagrin of their parents. The Muggle world eventually finds out about the Magical, and after a period of distrust and apprehension, come to an understanding. The Underland Chronicles Something happens a few years after the Code of Claw which reveals the Underland to the Overland. Gregor comes back in order to save Luxa, who he has never stopped loving. Young Justice Wally West, Kid Flash, is still alive, albeit in the form of a cloud of magnetically-charged particles. Zootopia Judy and Nick's relationship turns romantic one or two years after the events in Zootopia. Humans are somehow responsible for the sapience of the mammals and are present somewhere in the world. Overwatch After the Recall, an Overwatch raid on a Talon base captures important files on the neural reconstruction of Amélie Lacroix into Widowmaker. Seeing that they can reverse the reconstruction and bring Amélie back, a squad is sent to find and capture her, led by Tracer. After curing her, Amélie is heartbroken as she remembers all the people she killed as Widowmaker, including her husband Gérard, and attempts suicide. Lena is able to dissuade her, and Amélie soon begins her career as an Overwatch agent and as Talon's greatest enemy. The alternate skins of the Overwatch heroes are versions of themselves from parallel universes. For example, 's Police skin is from a universe where things are so bad in South Korea they need Mekas in the police force. And her Junker skin is from a world where she was born in the Outback shortly before or after the Australian Omnium was destroyed, resulting in her becoming a Junker and creating her own Meka from scrap. Theories Section The Immortal Liberty's Kids Theory: The main characters of Liberty's Kids, Moses, James, Henri, and Sarah, never age throughout the course of the cartoon series, which takes place over the course of 16 years, from 1773 to 1789. Now, why is that? Simple: They all became near-immortal the night of the Boston Tea Party, December 16, 1773. How? In the first episode, Sarah gets a faceful of ink during a storm at sea. There was something in that ink which she absorbed into her body. In the Wheatley's barn, whatever was in the ink leaked off of her and into Moses, James, and Henri, turning them all near-immortal. Their aging decreased so that they age one year after living 20 to 25 years. This means that they could possibly witness all of America's history as they attempt to keep their huge life expectancies a secret. Jack Splatter is Jack the Ripper: Jack Splatter from Alice: Madness Returns is the man who becomes Jack the Ripper. There is supporting evidence for this theory: One, his name is Jack (weakest piece of evidence). Two, Jack Splatter is a pimp in 1875 and would know the prostitutes of London and their routines well by 1888, the year of the Ripper killings. Three, Jack used a cleaver to kill Long Tim, a bouncer employed at the Mangled Mermaid, cementing that he knows how to use a knife. Four, Jack is bad-tempered and had no problem leaving Alice and Nan Sharpe to die in the burning Mermaid. And five, Jack apparently spends most of his time in Whitecastle, the part of London's East End where the Ripper killings took place. From this, I believe Jack Splatter to have become Jack the Ripper thirteen years after the events of Madness Returns. Bending is Quantum Physics: In the game BioShock Infinite, quantum particles called "Lutece particles" are responsible for the flying city of Columbia. In Avatar: The Last Airbender and the Legend of Korra, air bison are capable of flight despite their large size and utter lack of wings. Simply put, the air bison have naturally-occurring Lutece particles in their bodies which they can somehow control, possibly through their nervous systems or through their "chi". From this logic, it is therefore possible that all bending is really quantum processes taking place in the bodies of the benders themselves! Additional info on exact processes will be coming soon. WonderShock Timeline I recently decided that I would add dates to each of my "WonderShock" chapters in order to keep track of them and to also make them feel more real. I also like to make sure that dates and ages line up. Thanks to the requirements of my story, I had to make Alice eight years old by the time she was put into the asylum. I wanted her family to stay at least a year before the fire, and that her adventures in Wonderland would end about a month or so before the Rapture Civil War began. Here it is: July 18, 1929: Lizzie Liddell born. May 4, 1939: Alice Liddell born. November 5, 1946: Andrew Ryan found Rapture. November 12, 1946: Liddell family moves to Rapture. October 19, 1947: Liddell family home burned, Alice survives but with bad burns and a damaged psyche. November 5, 1947: Alice admitted to Rutledge Asylum in the Medical Pavilion after burns are sufficiently healed. November 11, 1957: Alice stops the Red Queen and recovers from her insanity. November 14-16, 1958: Fighting off the Dollmaker and Infernal Train, Alice discovers Bumby's involvement in the fire and kills him. Story begins here. |
