Hi, I'm Marquis Carabas, and I come from Scotland. In real life, I'm in university, studying Psychology. I signed onto Fanfiction.net in 2010 with the intention of writing about stories and scenarios which intrigued me, and to get feedback and criticism that would help me develop my writing ability.

If you ever see anything at all about any of my stories that could be improved upon, whether it's poor grammar, sentence structure, dialogue, characterisation, or whatever, then please leave a line in the reviews section commenting on it. I'll do my best to take it on board.

Other Gods - A Coraline/Cthulhu Mythos Fic. The world of the Cthulhu Mythos comes knocking on Coraline's door. Hilarity ensues! Also; chaos, death, general pandaemonium, and desperate struggles against the amoral forces of the universe.

The Tale of Sir Cadogan - A Harry Potter Fic. A story which seeks to answer that question which has plagued the minds of mankind since time immemorial; "How exactly does a muggle knight get himself a portrait within Hogwarts?"

Starnlicht - A Harry Potter Fic. The year is 1590, and stormclouds gather over wizarding Britain. A series of witchburnings in Scotland have left a trail of dead - and not just those of muggles. With an unknown assailant guiding the attacks, and a newly-fledged Ministry of Magic struggling to respond, answers must be sought in the darkest and strangest of places by an unlikely detective. Judith Fairweather, despite all the odds stacked against her, must stop the attacks, protect her kin, and guard against a threat to wizards and muggles alike. Getting out in one piece would be a welcome bonus.

The Ellipse - A Coraline Fic. Part 2 of the Station Sequence. Fifteen years on, what was once Coraline's hobby has become her job. A job which involves shotguns. And gunships. And science and love and conspiracies and affairs of state. Not necessarily in that order.

Narodnaya - A Coraline Fic. Part 3 of the Station Sequence. Long and illustrious careers can lead where you least expect them. And for Coraline, Wybie, and Maria, it can lead to a challenge beyond anything yet faced.

The Devil's Details - A My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Fic.The world outside Equestria is a dangerous place. Monsters stalk through mountains and forests, wild magic makes the very land hostile, and darker things lie in forgotten places. And when three unlucky stallions are thrown into it, they'll need to discover the magic of friendship to survive their journey home. A task more easily said than done when the problems facing them are dwarfed by those between them. Currently on hiatus. Mirrored on here.

The Emperor's Finest Series - Warhammer Fics. A series focusing around a long-suffering Deathwatch squad, and the various contrived ways in which fate conspires against them. Will be published whenever inspiration strikes (read: completely at random).
