I Actually quite like reading very good Naruto/Sasuke Friendship stories (although I hate slash) as I believe that with a little work, Sasuke could become a good friend and an actual brother figure, like Naruto thought in Canon. However, I rather dislike all the Sasu Bashing out there as, I can completely understand his situation. He thinks, before Itachi is killed, that the person who he looks up to most in life, his brother no less, decided to kill everyone in the clan for no good reason, and that the person he thought cared about him was just acting. Along with having witnessed his families murder 259200 times (Calculate it is you don't believe me 60x60x24x3) before passing out, he was determined to make sure that his brother paid for it with his life. Then he meets Itachi when he is twelve and Itachi makes him witness the Genocide another 259200 times. You'd want revenge. Then he finds out all of this is a lie, and that his brother cared for him, and was forced to kill all of the clan by the Elders of Konoha. All of his hatred would go onto them. The reason he wants to kill everybody in Konoha is that he believed, possibly justifiably, that Konoha killed off his entire family, and made his loving brother leave the village, so that they could avoid violence, despite having being able to negotiate out of it and the fact that it was Konoha's fault that things deteriorated to that level by discriminating the Uchiha, for something done by a rouge ancestor.

I noticed a large amount of people with challenges so I will make my own, even though, I don't think many people will even see this.

Three Affinities!Naruto

When Kakashi tested for Naruto's nature release, Wind was an affinity that Naruto found he had, along with Earth and Water. Kakashi decides to get the harder one out of the way, and teaches him wind first. Things go the same in the fight against Kakuzu, with Naruto using Rasenshuriken to win. However, when they get back, Naruto doesn't go for Ramen with Sakura and Sai, but works on Water/Earth Manipulation with his usable hand.

Requirements:
1) Naruto learns at least a couple of high level techniques from Kakashi and Yamato because of this.
2) Naruto cannot become uber!Naruto who can defeat anyone and everyone with ease in this story. By all means, make him quite powerful, however not to the point where the only one who can scratch him is Pein. Any Akatsuki member will have to still be a challenge, even people like Deidara. Sasuke was his perfect opponent, which is why he won.
3) No bashing. Of any kind. I don't care which character you hate, if you are going to bash someone in a challenge, do it in someone else's challenge.
4) NO YAOI!

Preferred:
1) I would prefer it if there was no romance. If there is, make it someone rarely used (e.g. Yugao, Ino, Shizune) as opposed to something with huge numbers of fans (e.g. Hinata, Sakura).
2) Spamming of Kake bunshin cannot be done immediately because of arm being in sling.

Suggestions:

1) Jiraiya stays in Konoha to teach Naruto some earth techniques. Because of this, you could have him not go to Pein at all, or you could just make it so that he has some deep, meaningful conversations before his death.
2) Unlike what you have seen in many terrible stories, just because Sasuke hears that Naruto is powerful, does not mean he will immediately hunt him down to kill him. After he kills Itachi, he is planning on returning to Konoha to rebuild his clan at this point in time. If anything, he would feel happy for Naruto, but his goal is to kill Itachi.
3) After you begin, you may ignore any updates in the Manga from that point on. I'm not saying don't read them, just make sure that you have a definite ending in sight. If the manga disagrees, ignore it. It does not control your story.

Summary for Broken Dawn: When Jiraiya sealed away the excess chakra from the kyuubi attack into the Jinchuriki's older brother, he could not have foreseen the consequences. That single action caused everthing to change, and certainly not for the better for Jiraiya. As Naruto ends up abandoning his sister for the Akatsuki, watch as events play out far different then in cannon. Alive!MinatoKushina. Jinchuriki!Kasumi. Twin!Naruto. Akatsuki!Naruto.
