![]() Author has written 5 stories for Kingdom Hearts. Hola! Kikiura here Just some info for you folks. So. Fandoms. Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts are both kind of my first loves in this world of fandoms - I've played most of the KH games (only 4 Final Fantasy's - I, VII (which I'm halfway through, but I know everything about it), VIII and X) and I adore practically everything Square Enix does with the franchise. Not too long after, I took on Hetalia as a favourite, as I love countries and all their histories and cultures and languages and just... EVERYTHING. There are some other small fandoms that I would love to delve into, but I can't think of anything that fits right. Things like Tokyo Crazy Paradise or Holly Black's Modern Faerie books or the Night Angel Trilogy. I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer (seen every episode, but I haven't read any of the comics), just because she kicks ass and is amazing and surprisingly human. Every character on that show has that good-bad duality thing going on in one way or another, and it makes them so intricately human that it hurts sometimes. Recently (VERY recently) I've been getting into Teen Wolf. Haven't seen all of it yet, but those characters also have that whole good-bad balance, shown mostly as a human-monster balance, but still. It's heartbreaking and amazing and gaaaah. I'll only ever write fics for "incomplete" series or stories. Kingdom Hearts has so much potential for manipulation, and with Hetalia, the possibilities are endless. History's an ongoing thing, you know! And the characters seem incomplete as humans (much like the Nobodies in KH), so AUs tend to work very well. That is not to say that a Final Fantasy (or any other) fic is bad, but I like everything that I personally write to not distort the story or anything set in stone, like Squall and Rinoa. Buffy is still continuing (but I ignore that for my own sanity, because I love manga, not comic books), but it has potential to spawn off into a million little different tracks of "what if"s, thus allowing semi-AU things to feel entirely plausible. I like a lot of AU stuff, but as long as no characters are majorly OOC and aren't complete strangers. Hints to the original thing are always fun, like quotes and mimicked actions.
