Why’d you lead me on?

You knew it wasn’t right

But all I get is sorry

That doesn’t make it alright.

I wanted to be loved

You promised me I would

You took my heart

You held it when no one else could

You tore it up

You probably don’t care

I can’t deal with the pain

I just want someone there

While I’m crying in bed

You’re probably fine

Another heart broken

Only this one was mine

You left for good

In the ruins of your wake

Was the only heart

That you ever forsake

I can’t trust you

That’s just how you are

Maybe I’ll find someone

Who wont destroy my heart
