Author has written 17 stories for Yu-Gi-Oh, Gakuen Alice, Soul Eater, Bleach, Aveyond, and Hetalia - Axis Powers.
UPDATE - 1/10/12 - 05:34 PM - GMT +8
To dorawc: I honestly didn't expect someone still read A Little Too Late so your reviews really took me by surprise. I was under the impression that everyone got tired of waiting and moved on so I didn't bother continuing it. I am touched by your love for my humble work. I can't promise you that I will be able to complete the fic but I'll at least try to update it for you. :)
About yamishun
I never thought I'd be writing fanfics. I was more of an arts person, or so I thought I was... I still haven't confirmed anything but I like the arts, writing, and music. That aside, I only found out that I have a bit of a skill in writing when I was in my second year in high school when I applied to the school newspaper. We were required to write four articles: one for editorial; another for sports; then news; and of course, feature. I only passed one (an editorial) and I got in. At that time it was all about whether I felt good about what I wrote or not, regardless of any possible grammar errors. It's not that much different now, but I do check the grammar (with the little "formal" study I had for the English language) as often as I could, and now I also consider other elements.
This account contains my very first fanfic and from there you can see my, ah, progress, if you'd like to call it that way. The in-between from Gakuen Alice and Hetalia phase is located in another site which I would rather not post here. It's littered with j-rockers and... other... stuff. I started writing in my teens and this year I've entered the twenties. I'm still learning and I'm still (hopefully) improving.
Multi-chaptered fics
Beyond Realms
fandom: Yugioh! DM
status: discontinued
This was my first ever fanfic. I still remember where this was supposed to go but I've obviously discontinued it. It's laden with grammatical errors due to my carelessness.
A Little Too Late
fandom: Gakuen Alice
status: discontinued (I may try to update it for dorawc)
This was supposed to have a sequel! And another one after that! But because I just can't find the inspiration in me to continue this, I'm dropping it as well. I'm not updated with the manga anymore anyway.
Let It Rain
fandom: Gakuen Alice
status: discontinued
I wrote this on a whim. It's not surprising that I actually dropped this on a whim. This is probably my only multi-chaptered where I didn't know how it would end. I kind of hated on it because it had so much teen angst, unexplained character reactions, and it was just messy.
Blue Moon
fandom: Bleach
status: discontinued
Originally written to have only 5-chapters but it needed more than that. There's a high chance I'm dropping this too thanks to Kubo's trolling. I kind of like this fic but the pace is too slow and there's not much progress in each chapter.
Intern Series
fandom: hetalia
status: in-progress
I'm pretty sure I'll be able to finish this one. Only because the chapters can stand without the others. It's like a series of oneshots compiled into one banner. There's no strict timeline and the chapters may not be written in chronological order. There's no elaborate plot nor will there be any "antagonists." It's like real life where people live their lives interacting and forming relationships with others. It's lighthearted and (hopefully) amusing.
Oneshots
Perfect Moment
fandom: Gakuen Alice
This is just cheesy. Despite that, I am oddly proud of this drabble. I find it kind of cute even if it's just my take on their first kiss. Tee-hee~ Natsume is acting so matured yet childish at the same time.
Reminisce
fandom: Gakuen Alice
Another spin-off from the manga. I have a thing for taking something canon and toying with it. I wanted a better grasp on the characters to understand their motivations and dissect the layers of their personality.
Untitled
fandom: Soul Eater
Another fic taken from the manga. It's really short and I don't have much to say about it.OTL
Trapped Between
fandom: Aveyond
This is really a oneshot but people believed it wasn't. I wanted to continue it but I didn't get around to actually write what happened next.
Within
fandom: hetalia
This was more or less the time when I struggled to get back to writing. I had become so accustomed to writing drabbles from my j-rock fanfic writer days that it was always a battle with myself to go over 500 words. I felt the need to write something humorous but could still have decent-sized paragraphs. I basically just had fun with the idea of having two characters (one who had both book- and street-smarts but was too passive, and the other who had street-smarts and was quite aggressive but generally clueless) stuck in an uncomfortably narrow space.
Inevitable
fandom: hetalia
My first USUK. I was playing with one of the pairing's charm which was the American Revolution. I'm not too proud of this one because this was written too early. I didn't have a firm grasp on both character's personality and I had little understanding about their inner-workings. OTL this is a blasphemy I would've deleted if not for the reviews. -sobs-
Still Here
fandom: hetalia
When I first heard about Prussia and Canada from my then hetalia-crazed friend, I fell in love with the thought about how these two characters are so similar yet so different. This oneshot came out while I toyed with their respective disappearing acts.
Ten Little Mochi Seconds
fandom: hetalia
In which I ran away with the drunken stories of my friends. Sequels are on the way. I'm just too lazy to finish my share.
Taking Responsibility
fandom: hetalia
Written out of boredom. It's quite cute but I don't know what the point is in this.
Misunderstood Christmas Traditions
fandom: hetalia
I wanted to write something for Christmas. This is what happens when I force myself to write.
Within Sequel
fandom: hetalia
Smut-writing practice! My first non-penetrative! Supposed to be intercrural but Gilbert wouldn't let me write him as the catcher. Sheesh.
