![]() Author has written 4 stories for Hobbit, and Lord of the Rings. 3/21/20 update: I wanted to leave a quick update for any who may be searching out news of the sequel to Aleks' and Daphne's story, Broken Ties. I still plan to write the sequel. The first chapter has been done...well, for a while now, but I've been dealing w/ health issues that resulted in everything I wrote thereafter turning into a tragic train wreck--NOT what I want for any of my stories lol. I'm on the mend now, so I'm hopeful I can get back to writing and my characters will not self-destruct on me. :D hehe. To all who have been waiting on that sequel, I have some fun twists and turns in mind. I hope they don't disappoint! I will probably dabble w/ something else (Better By the Dozen) first just to make sure my inner muse is done w/ her tantrum (I do NOT want to ruin Daphne and Bofur's romance by diving into that and finding my muse is still temperamental lol), but I'm crossing my fingers to be able to post Ties' sequel soon. Okay, back to writing lol. In progress: 1) Sequel to "Broken Ties" - was going to name it "Blood Ties" but not sure it'll work. We'll see. 2) The Company of Bilbo Baggins 3) Better by the Dozen My works: "Broken Ties" - It always seemed to me that if new characters are inserted into a story, the ripple effect will take over - something will go off course just by virtue of that new person in the mix. In this story, we have two additions - Naiad twins who are both damaged by years of hatred and bitterness. When Aleks is taken in by the Company of Thorin Oakenshield and Daphne is sheltered by the Elvenking, loyalties are tested. Things go wrong. It is definitely not canon. "Yule Ties" - An offshoot of Broken Ties. Basic premise: Thorin and the Company have returned to Erebor after successfully reclaiming their naiads from Faerie. What they don't realize until later is that they didn't return alone. "Adad" - When Bifur finds a woman giving birth by the side of the road, his life will change in ways he never anticipated. Unable to hand the orphaned babe to Men, he instead gives her a home. Little does he know the woman and baby were being hunted by an enemy no longer thought to exist. When his daughter is stolen, what will he do to redeem her? Hobbit/LotR crossover "There and There and There Again" - Buttercup Baggins is living the most terriblest day. Worse, the day refuses to end! What is an enterprising hobbit lass to do? |
