Author has written 53 stories for Silmarillion, and Lord of the Rings. I've been a Tolkien fan since I was 12 years old. My favorite characters are (in no particular order): Glorfindel, Elrond, Elladan, Elrohir, Haldir, Celeborn, Finrod, Gil-Galad, Eärwen, Indis, Anairë, and of course Finarfin. I am a serious Finarfinatic (I think I have just coined a new term. Woohoo!). There are few works out there about Finarfin or which include him. To me, he is the real hero of all of the sons of Finwë. My Finarfin muse spawns lots of plot bunnies for me, as you may have noticed from the number of Finarfin stories I have written. Crossroads of Time, starring Glorfindel and the folks of Gondolin, is the first fan fiction story I have ever written, and by far the longest work I’ve ever written. Crossroads of Time and Anticipation were each nominated for a 2006 My Precious Award (MPA). Lightly Sings the Wind and Raven Hair and Silver Eyes placed second and third in the 2005 Winter Challenge at HaldirLovers and both won 2006 MiddleEarth Fanfiction Awards (MEFAs). In the 2007 MEFAs, Still Waters won second place in Times First Age and Prior: House of Fingolfin. In the 2008 MEFAs, The Dark of Night received an Honorable Mention in Genres: Horror: General and Like Roses over a Fence received an Honorable Mention in Times: First Age and Prior: House of Finwe. |
