Author has written 11 stories for Sherlock, Doctor Who, Captain America, Les Misérables, King Arthur, Harry Potter, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, and Star Wars. Hi! This is IzzyBells, or Izzy. Welcome to my bio, thanks for checking it out. I've had this account since summer 2012, though I started reading on here even before then. I do a ton of writing in my spare time, but most of it doesn't get posted. I'll write for just about anything if an idea strikes me, so expect a variety of stuff. -The sequel for Curiosity Killed the Cat, Satisfaction Brought It Back, is a thing now! I realize I haven't touched it in like two years but I'll get to it someday. Hopefully. Or I won't and I'll let it quietly die, a relic of my days in middle school and early high school. -Something else for King Arthur might appear eventually...we'll see. I have at least one idea. -I seem to find myself the author of a fairly successful Harry Potter Marauders-era fic and that is my main priority right now. I have so much planned out for this thing that I'm literally writing spinoffs of things I haven't even written about yet. Life is busy, but I'm finally done with my senior year so I'll try to get more written this summer! I refuse to abandon it no matter what. This is my baby. I will finish it; I have to. -Someday I might come out with a college AU Dramione fic. Who knows? -Recently I've taken a foray into the Ladybug and Cat Noir fandom, and I'm in love, so expect more from that maybe. My first oneshot was a hit, and I have another idea or two floating around in my head. One of them may or may not be a fairytale AU. -Star Wars TLJ was exceptionally good, and I posted the beginning of something I had in my head since TFA. Whether or not I get around to writing more of it is to be seen, I guess. There's a few other assorted works under my name, some of which are oneshots and some of which are the first one or two chapters to things I may or may not ever continue. If you like anything I seem to have abandoned, drop me a line or two! It truly is encouraging to get reviews and follow/fav alerts on stories, because I'm writing for myself, but I'm sharing it for whoever is out there to enjoy it. I take pride in what I do, and it's nice to know that someone else thinks my work is good, too. Yes. I am a fan of OFCs in my writing, and, no, I will not apologize for it. Judge me all you like because I also judge myself about this. I do try to keep my OCs as far from being Mary-Sueish as possible. Sometimes you just can't avoid Mary-Sue traits, though, and I attempt to make up for this with flawed characters and some form of at least half-assed character growth. I just find it very hard to do anything significant with canon characters only, and I don't know why, but it's definitely an issue. In fandoms I know very well, like Harry Potter, I'm better about it and I can wrangle some canon characters into something of my own invention, but I think part of that is because Harry Potter has such a varied and extensive fandom with lots of AUs and lot of characters and three eras of characters and generally a very versatile canon. Regardless of any of that, if you, as the reader, aren't a fan of OFCs or OCs in general, that's totally fine! I don't want to shove my OCs in your face; that would just be rude of me. If you don't like it, just don't read it. Go find something more agreeable to your tastes rather than flaming my stories for something intrinsic to their plots, thanks!
