Possibly Exciting / Possibly Not Exciting News:

Recently, I started hand writing out all of my completed pieces including one-shots, chapter fics//part fics, and series works. I don't know why I did it, but it has been done (or at least mostly done). Now, though, I'm completely unaware what to do with it. Thinking about it, I figured I don't really need a hand written version of everything I've scribbled in the past few years, so I thought I might offer it up as the prize for a contest. I'm not sure if anyone would participate or if anyone would want the damnable thing. If you're reading this and are interested, PM me. If I hear some people say they'd be interested, I'll run a contest of sorts. If not, I will continue to stare at it with a feeling of both abject horror of the time I've sunk into writing about other people's worlds and pride for apparently pounding out some words.

About Me:

I'm a 20-something (a lady never tells her true age) college drop out (monetary reasons) with a flare for being dramatic and awfully verbose. I work in an emergency department (anyone anywhere in the United States, as I travel for work) and as such, the medical lingo and such in my pieces will be fairly graphic and accurate. I work 50 hours a week, which means that updates won't be extremely frequent (once daily to once monthly) and will be sparked by the muses. If you harass me, I will update. If you don't and lady muse isn't sitting on my shoulder, I won't.

My writing will not pull punches. If there is an opening and there is a reason, I will throw it. This means that I won't shy from any topic be it rape, torture, heterosexuality, homosexuality, infanticide, etc. I strive to make my pieces accurate and realistic. In some times and periods it was common place for these things to happen or not happen. Additionally, I swear. I swear quite a bit. Profusely, in fact, in languages both my common tongue and those that aren't. That means that if a character I'm writing is rough around the edges and likely to swear, I'm not going to have them kick the dirt and shout "pussy feathers!". It's not me. I don't have it in me to create a politically correct version of things.

I'd be a shite politician.

Stay tuned means that this piece has been under production in my drafts folder of my email for a while and is really shaping up to be something that I ACTUALLY plot out, write and edit before posting the first chapters of. I know. It shocked me, too.

I don't care if you're someone that drops an overly excited, "Da Da Da Da Da I'm LOVIN' it" (trademark: McDonald's Inc.) or a long winded diatribe as to the errors, sins and evils of my pieces. Trust me, I am an adult, and as such, I will respond to you in a respectful manner, if I can.
