Author has written 14 stories for Anne of Green Gables series, Chronicles of Narnia, and Tangled.

Time for a profile update! It's only been, what, six years in the making? :P

I've found that the only category that truly moves me to write in is Chronicles of Narnia. Why is that? I chalk it up to early imprinting. I was three or four when I first "read" the series, sitting in my dad's lap following along as he read aloud, and occasionally correcting him when he left a word out. (I'm sure that's where I learned to read.) I have read the Chronicles every year since then, making them by far the most read book(s) in my collection. And with each passing year, I go deeper and deeper into the Wardrobe, for it is a Simply Enormous Wardrobe indeed.

Narnia calls me as no other fictional story has been able to, and I feel a profound understanding and affinity for the characters and lands. I have high standards of writing for both myself and other stories I read, and there is nothing I hate more than an utter disregard for canon. I don't care if your fic is controversial or contains viewpoints other than the strictly allegorical or Judeo-Christian worldview of Lewis's works...but by all means, respect the craft of writing and of your source material. Do your research; find out what the books have to say about your theme; then make informed choices about why the characters either do or do not conform to canon detail. Many Narnia authors here are completely against slash/incest/M ratings/language. I am one of the perhaps rare breed of dedicated canon-lovers and Lewis fans who will read almost anything as long as it is written with taste, sensitivity, and excellence. Lewis wrote Narnia for children, but if you read his other works (Till We Have Faces and The Space Trilogy are two prime examples), there is also a vast adult perspective on his fantasy that is waiting to be explored.

My fics:

Till now, I have tended to write one-shots as they are much more safe. My early fics, I will warn you, are not very good - they were written as a teenager and it shows. I am attempting to embark on some longer pieces now, and I greatly appreciate all feedback on how they develop! I love exploring the relationship between the Pevensie siblings and that is my current passion and theme in the stories I'm working on.

I am happy to take requests for drabbles, short-stories, whatever you'd like to see. I love so many of the classic Narnian characters as well as some minor ones, my favorites being: Lucy (#1, always was, always will be), Edmund, Peter, Tirian, Jill, Aravis, and Caspian. (Minor characters: EMETH! Lasaraleen [snort, Erlian, Coriakin, to name a few). I am not much fond of Susan, young Digory or Polly, or Ramandu's daughter.

In case anyone cares, here's what I ship: Lucian (Lucy/Caspian...which was long before any of the movies ever existed...one of the most beautiful yet impossible-to-manage-canonically relationships out there, which is why I haven't attempted it yet), Jill/Tirian, occasionally Lucy/Tumnus, and a canon couple Aravis/Cor. I am anti-ship: Caspian/Ramandu's daughter (say wha?? it's in the book! Yes I know, but their relationship is unfortunately very superficially based on external beauty and I think his character deserves a more well-rounded companion), Suspian (:gag:), Edmund-or-Peter/OC (unless VERRRRY well done), Lucy/Tirian (although they have a beautiful moment in the book, I think Tirian sees Lucy in a very idealized light, without a basis of companionship with which to fall in love with her), and to some degree Jill/Eustace (but I can be easily charmed by sweet fluffy stories featuring them). I will entertain the idea of Pevencest only if you have a good reason for it and not just because the movie characters looked "cute" together.

(To digress on the Narnia movies for a moment: my Edmunds and Peters are pretty much exactly as the actors portrayed them, my Lucys act but don't look exactly like Georgie Henley, for Lucy should have golden hair per the book, and my Susans are...non-existent? Hehe, ok, Anna Popplewell will do.)

BE FAITHFUL, PEOPLES!
