Hi everyone,

August 2014: I'm back... after 9 years, almost to the date. For all those years, I have regularly received notificactions of people reviewing or "favorite"-ing my first story, and each and everyone one of them has been appreciated and made me smile. To think people are still reading my story after all that time was really unexpected, but amazing and gratifying all the same.

If you wonder where I've been, why the story ended slightly abruptly and why there never came a sequal, I can tell that I'm now the proud mother of two daughters and the the oldest one is 8 years and 3 months old... My youngest is 4 and now I finally have a moment to myself again to be able to give my story writing proper attention. I live in Denmark, north of Copenhagen, with my family and work with IT for A. P. Moller - Maersk.

This second story - "the Last King" - is not a sequal to "The Forgotten Vow", but an unrelated new story, as I felt Jareth and Sarah was perfectly happy where we left them. The writing style is similar, however, in the new one, so I hope you'll enjoy. The Labyrinth is so well suited for fanfiction - not just because the original movie has a wrong ending, but also because there are so many unexplained things in the movie, so there are unlimited possibilities for making up stories that fit.
