In the time I've been gone, my life's moved on. I've been in college studying things. I'm not sure if my prior stories will be completed, though I've never intended to abandon them. My writing style has advanced somewhat since that time, and I've read a lot more, know a lot more, have had a few changes in interests. If anyone actually wants me to complete them, send me a PM. Even if it's just one person, if they care enough, I'm willing to start writing chapters for them again. Meanwhile, I'll be working on Black and White in my spare time.

Okay... This one is for flamers.

Recently, I received an e-mail that there was an update for the story A Miscellaneous Tale of Night and Day by Starran. For those who do not know, this is a story that is extremely popular in the Pokemon section. Just 24 chapters, yet over 700 reviews as of right now.

The update was not a new chapter, but a message of defiance for flamers.

Apparently the situation was that someone who decided it would be fun to flame her story got a freaking forum to get a whole bunch of other people to do it. In one of the stupidest cases of follow the leader I've ever seen, they apparently did.

Authors try to take pride in their work. Positive, supportive reviews are wonderful. Neutral, critical reviews are even better sometimes, even if they're not what you expect. Purely negative reviews with no reasons or explanations can be hurtful to most authors.

Now, flamers are not especially effective against me, because I find them hilarious. I laugh at their narrow, ridiculous, sometimes illogical comments.

However, most authors have some sort of emotional tie to their work that makes them feel bad, despite the insanity of such comments.

So, to all flamers: I don't care if you flame my stuff. Go ahead, amuse me with your short-sighted, ludicrous, grammatically-challenged foolspeak. But leave the other authors alone.

And to all authors, nay, to all who make fiction: Join me as we laugh at those sad, silly little people that get pleasant feelings from hate. You could even put it on your profile: I laugh at flamers.

This particular person asked me to write a lemon.

As entertained by this review as I was, I do not do lemons.

I will never do lemons.

Why? Because there's little point to them. I can sum up every lemon--no matter the characters, no matter the plot, no matter the world it's set in--in five words: And then they had sex.

There's no real advancement, no real character development, nothing. There's definitely no entertainment, other than for a couple of perverts. You might as well watch porn.

They did the deed. It doesn't need to be explicitly scrawled across the screen.

So, for that one reviewer and all others hoping I try that 'genre' next, no. Please do not even ask.

Recently, I posted a story called "Ask Arceus," a story that was basically a "Truth or Dare..." but for the God of Pokemon. People would come up with any situation in the games or the manga, and I would expand upon it... devising a story from as little as three words, if needed.

I had noticed other people doing similar things with more minor characters in Pokemon and other forms of media as well. I noticed how entertaining it was, and even participated a few times myself. I always wanted to make one, but never had the inspiration. Once I came up with the concept, I thought people would enjoy and have fun with it.

I was wrong.

A lot of people would just do it and enjoy it without a second thought. However, as it turns out, such a thing is actually against the rules. Any fic that is "interactive" is not allowed on fanfiction.net. I had exactly four reviews before I took the story off. Three of them pointed out my mistake and threatened reporting (which was justified, considering).

Now, my story would perhaps be the most obvious example of Rule #5 under "entries not allowed": Any form of interactive entry: choose your adventure, second person/you based, Q&As, and etc. because of the extremities I reached for. However, any other form of truth/dare or story purely based on suggestions is also against the rules of Fanfiction.net. Use discretion while posting. Read the Rules and Guidelines beforehand.

Webcomics I enjoy: Homestuck, Misfile, Questionable Content, Gunerkrigg Court, El Goonish Shive, Order of the Stick.

Manga I enjoy: Fullmetal Alchemist, Pokemon Special (Adventures), D.N.Angel, Soul Eater, History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi, Horimiya, Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (Assassination Classroom).

Me on My Stories:

I have ten as of now.

The Perceptionist: This is my first story. It has nearly all of the dexholders in it and my Original Character Nil. It is complete.

A.R.C.: This story is temporarily on hold. My other stories are more interesting to me right now. My second story, a continuation of Cave Story that occurs ten years afterwards. Contains the Original Character Arc.

Family Issues: Aftermath: The sequel to The Perceptionist. After the first story, I wondered: what else could I do? Has Nil in it, and Iris, too. It is complete.

Action Replay: When I got one of these devices, I put it in and started conquering everything. However, it was very boring. This story shows what it looks like in-game, albeit more exciting. It is complete.

The Perceptionist Oneshots: These are a series of oneshots that take place after Family Issues: Aftermath. Basically me having fun with the characters and putting in any of my ideas.

Ouch: Pokemon is crazy sometimes. This is one of those instances. You'd think Game Freak would know better...

Halloween: This a oneshot crossover between the episode "Halloween" of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Pokemon Special. Just something I thought would be funny.

True Strength: A more serious story than the others. It was initially inspired by avrilkesha92's story "Gold's Clothes."

All That Remains: Minecraft is freaking awesome. All I needed to write about it was something... unique. And I believe I found it.

Black and White: Magical girl anime is rather entertaining... sometimes. Madoka and Nanoha are the two opposite extremes in the good part of the genre. Then there are the cruddy, repetitive ones that can't be saved. Futari wa Pretty Cure is somewhere in the middle. It has really, really good elements, but it pays off... not poorly, but not to my satisfaction. This story is meant to fill out the characters more and hopefully stop some of the more blatant stupidity that the Cures and their opponents have, as well as cut down on the repetitiveness in it.

Mister Bones' Wild Ride: I really like the idea of this meme. It's hilarious. And for some reason, every single time I thought about it, the tune of Super Mario 64 DS' Slots Shot would pop into my head. It just seemed like the perfect, most hilariously infuriating music to be playing while someone took a Wild Ride. A bit of lyrics, and huzzah! You get this story.
