Curse Of Kings chapter 1 . 7/10
In what chapter does Ryouko Shizuki beat the alien sniper to death?
nearnyt chapter 45 . 7/7
Madoka f- Kaname. I've had this story saved at this particular chapter since 2016 March 26 and in all this time, despite seeing it often recommended in the same breath or community as other stories I enjoy, I've never touched it due to some deep-seated bias against the source material. I mean...magical girls in frilly dresses fighting monsters? It just sounded absurdly vacuous... and here I am now, feeling bittersweet at the long hesitation and the anticipation of a lot more of this beautiful story. It's such a triumph of imagination and rationality tinged with emotion, and looking at the dates, I'm in awe of your perseverance. I have no idea what's yet to happen, but whether it's to hope or despair or both, thank you so much for writing this. Take care.
DarkIronwing chapter 61 . 6/29
You know, this story has been giving me a distant sense of deja-vu for a while now and I think I‘ve finally figured out why. It reminds me of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. With the Magical Girls as Jedi, Governance as the Republic, the aliens as the Separatists, all in a suspicious (probably instigated) war that just drags on and on without noticeable progress and that mysterious conspiracy within Governance. And the war does seem to weaken the Magical Girls most of all. I‘m curious if we‘ll see the humans turning on the MSY like the clones turned on the Jedi...
Mr-popo98 chapter 61 . 6/28

The Unplanner chapter 56 . 5/19
What happens if Ryouko sends a wormhole stabilizer facility, or just the core(s), through its own wormhole? Would it destroy the universe or something?
The Unplanner chapter 55 . 5/18
Now there's a relationship goal: Generic NPCs engaging the "You Look So Cute Together" dialogue tree without prompting.
ZhaWarudo chapter 61 . 5/10
Just finished reading. World building is amazing, I just wish you it was more sci fi than personnel tech and everything being solved by magic. You tell us how frustrated Ryouko is with being dragged around by others and their secrets, well we readers are too frustrated at being dragged around. Couldn't Ryouko boldly go as per her wish... find some new aliens and get new technology that saves the day?
The Unplanner chapter 22 . 5/7
Tremble before the might of this fully armed and operational wormhole stabilizer! Honestly, I should have seen it coming on my first read through.
Arnoldstrife chapter 61 . 4/30
Holy crap! This chapter was intense. The Scifi bomb is crazy. I absolutely love how space battles in pulsar space are being described here. Insanely good, the tensions is high and suspense good. There's too much to like about this chapter. Everything is coming together is beautiful too. I'm kinda want to see if there's going to be another Akemi Homura medal of doing the impossible here.
The Unplanner chapter 8 . 4/26
Yuma has learned what the Incubators have known for millenia: cute things can concoct evil plots in plain sight, and still be considered cute.

Cuteness is influence. Influence is control. Control is power. Cuteness rules ALL!
Psykoakuma chapter 61 . 4/22
Oh shit! I think the pieces are finally starting to come together! This whole war is the greatest piece of misdirection and manipulation at a galactic scale! It's clear now that the conspiracy knew about the war and were working together despite it, with the more pressing concern being a message that was never delivered. So, if on the one side we have team Homu, and on the other team Squidward, then the third party must be the real enemy! This would explain why the aliens never push the fight hard enough to overwhelm humanity! The war is a farce! Or at least the war's true outcome is not destruction of either side, but rather shaping events in such a way that a truly horrific fate/foe can ultimately be overcome. Given how much is riding on the secrecy of this conspiracy, it's no wonder those who get too close to uncovering it are targeted for assassination! But who could the real enemy actually be? Some as of yet unrevealed side? Or could it be a much fluffier enemy, an enemy with which Homura already has a dark history!

Either that or Homura truly went and lost her damn mind. This whole conspiracy is just her manipulating both sides into ultimately destroying the creature which she blames for everything that happened to her... and Madoka.

Either way I am so looking forward to the next chapter! Especially the team Yuma part!
Lord-Sylph chapter 61 . 4/21
Oh sheeeeit, so many important discoveries, so many secrets still hidden. Fck yeah I love this story. Can hardly wait till June/July!
The Unplanner chapter 52 . 4/21
Homura hopefully isn't insane, but she's hovering in the exact emotional state in which anime characters make their worst decisions - a mix of confusion, despair, desperation, and selfishness. She's a dark shade of moral gray at the best of times, and the best times were centuries ago.

Come to think of it, would filling her unbreakable soul gem up with maximum grief make it harder for other magical girls to detect her magic signature? That might explain how she vanished for so long.
