[1-25-20] ACOMI status: I've finally finished writing it, and now I just have to go through and edit the whole thing, clean up some of the pacing, and start posting again. Unfortunately, I still don't have a concrete timeline for when that will happen, but I do hope to get it uploaded sometime this year. In the meantime, I'm fixating quite badly on the The Witcher (2019), so expect a few fics for that to pop up over the next few weeks. Lol @ me from 4 years ago who actually thought she would ever give up writing fanfic in its entirety; where the hell else am I supposed to expend all this tenderness and yearning for romance?

[12-12-16] ACOMI status: I'm taking 21 credits in college this semester so I've essentially had no free time to devote to this fic. Break starts in a couple weeks so I'll be able to write more then. I'm sorry about the delay! At this point I'm honestly writing this more for myself than for anyone who's still reading the fic. Unfortunately, I do think ACOMI is the last fic I'll finish. The other 3 WIPs I have... I've just lost interest in those fandoms, tbh. If I ever write more fic, I'll be sure to upload it, and I might go through my old notebooks at some point and post any old fics I'd forgotten I'd written, but I think my career as a fic writer is on hold for now. Thank you to everyone who's stuck with me for all these years! I appreciate you more than I can ever articulate.

[10-31-15] I need to update this godforsaken profile, dear god it is embarrassing. The most important thing you need to know: I am now in college, which means that my parents can't get on my case for writing gay fluff anymore. Which means I can officially write fic without worrying about if my parents will find it, hell yeah. I know I promised giftfics like 3 years ago, but I get the feeling that none of those people care anymore? I probably won't be doing those, in any case. I'm currently trying to finish ACOMI, and then my other 3 unfinished fics after that. And once I finish those, I'm likely going to step away from writing fanfiction and start writing real fiction instead. Fanfiction has been good to me and I'm grateful for having gotten involved, but I think it's time for me to branch out. I probably will dabble a little bit anyways, but not to the extent that I used to. Ummm anyway, yeah that's pretty much it. If you're still here despite my constant and long hiatuses, I am so incredibly grateful to you. Thank you for sticking with me for so long.

[8-19-13] Yooooo! Sup? Welp, school starts for me tomorrow, so we all know what that means... More time for Tabby to write! :D *weak cheers* I will be trying to get ACOMI and Tail chapters up, but I'm working on several other projects on the side, so I can't promise anything. I haven't forgotten giftfics, but those are gonna be a while longer. :/ There will probably also be a couple more BTR fics coming, along with maybe a few Marvel fics. I'm also looking at a few Johnlock fics I may want to write, so yay for that, haha. Um, that's all I can think of rn. Thank you so much to the readers who have stuck with me for so long.

[4-4-13] I haven't found much time to write because of IRL stuff, so it's still gonna be some time before I can truly come back. But I have been able to find a few minutes here and there, so I'm going on another A/N purge. Most of my A/Ns are ridiculously long, so I'm going through and shortening them. So anytime you see something like "A/N v.3" or something, that's all that means. :)

[2-23-13] Long time, no see, eh? Sorry, I've basically resigned myself to the fact that I will be completely unable to upload anything for the next two and a half years, at least. I just can't deal with schoolwork and my parents and FFN at the same time; it just won't work. I'm trying to get stuff typed up on the school computers when I get some time, but I only ever get about an hour a week, and that's not nearly enough time to be very productive. I will be getting fics up occasionally, both here and on FPC, but updates will be pretty much nonexistent, sorry. This will probably be my last update for several months. Thanks for understanding. :)

[10-30-12] First off, happy Halloween! :) Now, to the actual stuff. I'm still unable to actually sit down at my comp for long periods of time and get stuff done, so ACOMI and giftfics have been postponed for a while. Never fear, though, I WILL get them up. It just might take me a while, and I'm sad to say that I'm looking at at least a couple years before I can invest time in FFN without my parents constantly breathing down my back. :( I will be working on getting Tail completed, simply because it's so much easier to write a drabble!fic in my spare time, and get it typed up and published. Seriously, it only takes me about 45 minutes to get through the full process for one chapter. Plus, I kinda don't really want to disappoint the few readers that I have, lol. So that's my only project right now. Once I start getting freer, I'll work on finishing ACOMI, and getting some of my other fics typed and posted. Just wanted to make note of my situation, and say thanks for understanding. :)

[9-5-12] Haha! Tabby is back! Kinda... I should be able to get some stuff up soon. :) A fic is coming this Saturday, and giftfics will be published soon. I'm working on getting them all typed up, but it'll take a while. Sorry for the delay. Things should pick up as I'm able to access a computer for long periods of time. I have several fics that need to be typed up and published, but it's looking like I might actually get 50 fics up by the end of 2012!

[8-3-12] My parents found another fic I was writing, and totally blew their tops off [dunno why, the worst thing in it was a hug b/w friends; it was rated K]. So they banned me from writing. But never fear, writing is my life. I've gotten most of the giftfics either written or almost written, and only need to do a couple more. I'll try to get some fics posted between now and when school starts, and even more then, because I'll be able to use the school comps to type instead of staying up late and not getting enough sleep. Updates, while still slow, should pick up a bit.

[7-13-12] So... my parents found a yaoi fic of mine that I was writing. And they flipped out. And demanded to see my account. So I'm going to create a separate account, named MKat98, and post my parent-friendly fics [i.e., K/K-plus/non yaoi fics] over there. These stories will remain on this account, SO THEY WILL BE DUPLICATES. I will send all users who review, fave, or alert me or my stories a PM that explains the situation. So this is basically saying, TabbyCat33098 IS MKat98. No plagiarism or copying or stealing or anything, we're one and the same. Also, my updates might go stagnant as I wait for this to blow over.

[7-11-12] I'm going through my fics and cleaning them up a bit, making them prettier, adding linebreaks, etc. I'm also thinning out the ridiculously long A/N's, so that they're shorter and to the point. I'm calling this the Purge. So if you see something at the top of a fic that says something like "A/N v.2: Purging.", it's part of the Purge. Nothing new happening right now. :)
