I just read this whole thing and it was delightful. I loved how you handled Ward's therapy - he's a victim, but he's not excused entirely from what he did. You struck that balance perfectly!

Ack. Good story. Not quite as strong grammar. Look up transitive verbs (if you're still looking at these reviews, that is) and try to avoid the passive. Also, try to avoid "That's just as." Please. Thank you.

This was such a rollercoaster adventure that you brought us on for Ward and Skye! A part of me is sad to let this fic go, but all good things must eventually come to an end. and the ending was everything I could have wished for. It gave me tearsx of joy, sadness and what a wonderful effing to see Ward may the girl of his dreams. Interesting seeing him do a mission, even on his own wedding day. Luckily he made it in time, or else Skye might have killed him. This was a great read from start to finish. I hope to read your one-shot in the near future.

I loved this ending. I think you it it open ended that sets up the epilogue perfectly. Ward still has to face and accept what he did for Hydra and only when he does, will he be able to move on. With SHIELDS adversarial relationship with the us government there's no way they'd be able to convince them to let Ward rejoin SHIELD before finishing his sentence. Especially they of a military prison. I loved the way you had everyone interact with Skye and how they made her feel welcomed and where she belonged. I kind of had a feeling Skye was going to have superpowers and it's an interesting one. The way she could use her powers could help others too. Like how she did with Ward. I hope to read the epilogue tomorrow.

Yay! Skye lives! I don't know what I would've done if she didn't make it. I loved seeing Ward Flash back to simpler times between them, even though he was a double agent, you could tell that he was having reservations because he was starting to care about her. It seems like the conflict with the Asgardian goddess is when he was starting to regret Rhett he knew he'd have to do. I love the way you portrayed Wards anger. Very much Ward to blame himself and everyone else. And I'm hoping he'll be able to get rid of His hallucinations of Garrett soon. Something is keeping them they're and he won't be able to move in until he lets Garrett go.

Go Ward! I think it's Scott time he faced his demons and continued his relationship to Gareth. The man had not only emotionally abused him, but mentally too. He always made Ward feel like he was less than nothing, so it was great to read him fight confront hallucination Garrett and this tone he chose the team. I loved seeing him so focused and determined to find Skye, even during his own turmoil. It's showing how far he's gone since his betrayal. I'm just hoping Skye will pull through and be okay. I don't know what was would do to himself if she didn't make it out the team for that matter. I also love how observant Gayle is. She can sense when something is bothering Ward. Looking first to these last few chapters.

I love the way Skye views the team in contrast to his she views her biological father. It didn't be more night and day. The team is he real family. Anyone can be a father, but it takes someone like Coulson to skye to be her dad. I love how she was thinking how each of the team members represent something didn't to Skye, even Ward. She's starting to let him into her heart again, even if it'll take time for her to fully forgive him for his betrayal.

Skye's father seems a little phycotic, but calculating too. Using Wards own demons against him is just crafty. And his wrist demons must begin and end with Garrett. It makes sense he'd hallucinate and see Garrett. And how will he beat his own demons and stop seeing Garrett. At first I missed that it was a hallucination. Luckily I was able to pick that up being this chapter.

John Garrett's alive? that doesn't sound good, especially given what we thought was his Denise, not to mention his history with Ward. I'm really going Ward won't betray the tab and sure again. I'm hoping he's seen through Garrett now and will choose to be loyal to the team this time around. I loved how She wouldn't leave wards size, wanting to make sure he was okay after being shot. It's so great seeing the prices between Ward and She the hatred is starting to diminish and where starting to see how much they really care about one another. Even the team is starting to sense what's going on between Ward and She. I like that he was able to confide in Gayle with Skye. It does look like she has his best interests at heart. I liked his worry about how Coulson and may wood react to what transpired with Skye Ward. I'm hoping Skye will be okay and the team will be white to remove her from Garrett's clutches.

I honestly enjoyed this chapter and don't fret because the last scene was great. I understand where you come from, I feel Berthoud writing those kinds of scenes too when I write fanfiction. we're in chapter 9 out of 15 now, so I think we're at a point where I can see it happening. I think the development they lead to it happening was written very well too. I'm curious how their interactions in the morning after will transpire. Will it be awkward? Will they pretend it didn't Haith and try to go back to the east it was the previous Chapter and the beginning of this one. They should be interesting to read. I liked seeing Ward comfort Skye in her moment of need. I'm worried how far the group is going to go to get skye to come with them and what lengths the team will have to go to protect her from them. King someone can't be ready for her to live with. looking forward to more.

I think the flashback works for this story. It explains the shift in everyone's attitude towards Ward. I like that there starting to give him a chance now. it may not be the level of trust it was pre-Hydra, but at least their talking to him now, so that's a start. and Skye's line at the end towards was was hopeful for eventual forgiveness. Hair to see fitz awake and about. I was wondering when he'd make his appearance. Fitz is honestly the most forgiving of all the characters, to Ward and other characters. I look forward to seeing what's next. I kind the flashback with Skye and Gayle. It explains her softer tone with Ward. She's finally starting to understand things from wards perspective more.

Short, but interesting all the same. I'm loving the relationship between Ward and Trip. other than Coulson, he seems to be the only one giving him a real chance and objectivity. I liked seeing them work together to get into the base and gather the required Intel.

I wonder what Skye's upto with regards to Ward. There's certain things she can't tell z Sure due to doctor-patient confidentiality, but I'm guessing Skye's trying to find a reason from Dr. Gayle not to trust or give him a chance. I'm curious as to how that meeting will go. Interesting to see Skye wake Ward up from his nightmate. For someone who claims she doesn't care about Ward, she seems to be thinking about him quite a bit, including waking him up from a nightmare. Looking forward to what's next.

loved the conversation between Coulson and Ward. I really love that Coulson is being objective and giving ward a chance to earth back Coulson and the teams trust. The issue with Coulson in the cabin universe is he refused to give him a chance to prove himself. I think, in part that's why he chose Hydra in the end. In Canon, he looked at it subjectively, rather than objectively. I'm happy to see him giving a Ward a chance to earth back the trust that was lost.

So it looks like they successfully managed to capture Resins this time. She can be so crafty add calculating it's difficult to figure out what she's planning our who's side she's on. v She always signs herself with who will be the most beneficial to her plans. It's good to see one of their plans actually worked out this time. Though I have a feeling she and whoever she's working for planned it that way. I'm wondering what Skye's parents are planning and how far Ward will go to protect her, especially given the lack of trust by the team.

this chapter was full of action and it was interesting to see Ward have to do his first mission in his own, desire the team lacking trust with him. Loved Skye confronting Ward about his sacrificial decision. I'm glad they didn't leave him being. Him sacrificing himself won't just make things right again, he has to earn that still, but they see him as which of an asset to not just sacrafice him. It seems Coulson is letting him do more than what protocol allows him to Looking forward to more.
