PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

TO MY READERS:

I received a message from one of the self-appointed "content police," "catspats31" bitching about the content in one of my works and basically telling me that I had to change it due to its sexual content. As these people (usually non-writers, of course) tend to snoop around, are all around nuisances (with nothing better to do), and seek to have you change your works to suit the ridiculous content rules on this site on pain of reporting you, I had thought to divorce myself from FFnet, effectively ending any further updates to my works. I have also been updating my work on pages like Archive of Our Own, or Deviantart, and on accounts with Wattpad and AdultFanfiction, though not all of my work is uploaded there yet.

Anyway, I changed my mind. These are MY stories, and I will write them they way I want to. My readers enjoy them. If people do not like the content in my works, they are not obligated to read them. We are adults and have FREE WILL. I have saved all my reviews, and will continue to save them so I will have them as mementos of my time here and of my wonderful readers.

So, straight up, I REFUSE to change my works. I REFUSE to comply with such unreasonably stupid rules, so if my page is deleted, I won't be surprised. So enjoy while you can, but please find me at the aforementioned sites under the very same penname for further content. Thanks for everything, and I'll see you here or there!

TO MY FELLOW WRITERS:

I suggest you do the same thing. We are unable to delete our accounts ourselves, presumably so FFnet can continue to pretend to be a legitimate writing site that allows us to "unleash our imaginations." Right. Back up your work! Copy your precious reviews, and make sure to have another place where readers are free to enjoy YOUR STORIES, written YOUR WAY.

Thanks for stopping by my profile! I am a single mother in my 40s, and I have a sweet and smart 12-year old son. I served in the United States Army for nearly 6 years, and now am striving to achieve my dream of becoming a Veterinarian, one I've had since I was younger than my son. So between him, work, and classes, I write when I can. My author image is not mine.

Interests:

I love animé (and Japanese culture in general) and all sorts of other animation. It's just more fun to watch to me, lol. As far as that goes, I'm into a LOT of different shows. Just to mention a few:

Bleach, Naruto, Darker Than Black, Serei no Moribito, Samurai Champloo, Hakuoki, Nana, Eyeshield 21, Ao no Exorcist, Hellsing, Inuyasha, etc. and so forth. There are like, SO MANY that I like, and many I haven't even discovered yet. Not to mention I am a Studio Ghibli FANATIC. I would so love to meet Hiyao Miyazaki-san someday.

I am NOT a yaoi fan. Don't read it, and I don't write it.

I have been video gaming since as long as I can remember. Some of the titles and characters I love:

Dragon Age: I love all the characters, for the most part, but specifically: Fenris Zevran (two smexy elves), Varric (sexiest dwarf EVER), Isabela (my GIRL), , Cullen (favorite, hot Templar), Alistair (my huggy bear). I love Anders too, although I prefer his happy-go-lucky Awakenings version. I'll still cradle him to my bosom though...once Zevran moves after a LOOONNG period of private time (smexy elf, remember?).

OMG...Dragon Age Inquisition...AMAZING!!! I've thrown away so much of my time playing it, and I regret NOTHING! Can't wait to read the tidal wave of fanfictions coming from this game!!! Hell, I may even write some. ;)

So yeah, I wrote some. See below!

Mass Effect: Kaiden Alenko is one of my faves, as well as Garrus (love his voice), Jack (who I thought was weird at first but then realized I'd totally hang with that bitch), Thane (with his Ezio Auditore lips), Jacob (superb eye candy), and always, ALWAYS, Joker! They really did a great job with him (LOVE Seth Green). I would love to have him as a LI, if I wasn't completely sure I would get a little too excited and break the poor man's pelvis (oops!). And last, but definitely not least...JAMES VEGA. WHY did Bioware not let him be a fu-I mean, lovable character during the game?! Such a stud!! Oh well. In any case, I love me some Jimmy V!

Other games: Assassin's Creed, Ninja Gaiden, Skyrim, Uncharted (love it!), Red Dead Redemption, and many, MANY others. I'm always on the lookout for a great game!

*WRITING*

I've always wanted to write, ever since I learned to do so creatively. I hope someday to write an actual book, preferably a fiction about werewolves. My favorite authors include Patricia Briggs (absolute fave), Laurel K. Hamilton (when a story actually emerges from all the smut--anything before Obsidian Butterfly), Alice Borchardt, Anne Rice, and some others I can't think of right now.

By the way...if you haven't gathered it by reading most of my fics...I like tastefully-done, old-fashioned smut. I like to read it and write it. I don't always need it, but I don't mind it at all. Just saying. If I'm removed from this site (where I first came to like it in the first place) because of it, so be it.

*PUBLISHED WORKS*

I ran into on a number of occasions, and I only recently started putting my own imagination on here. I love reading, but I have had some ideas for stories as well. So I am trying my hand at some. You will find this work on as well under the same name. I plan on writing for others, including Dragon Age and maybe Mass Effect. So far:

Thundercats 2011 - Even though the show has been cancelled (BOOO!), I found myself pretty intrigued by this new take on an old favorite. Tygra is my favorite, and I was overjoyed when he and Cheetara got together.

Comfort Possession - My first fanfiction and STILL my most popular. It is loosely based off of the new Thundercats show that airs on Cartoon Network. I really loved the design of most of the characters, Tygra and Cheetara being my favorite. The energy between these two was compelling enough for me to write this story. Where initially I was a Lion-O x Cheetara (I guess) during the original '80s show, I am an avid TyChee fan on this new spin off. Tygra is too hot not to win the girl!

I tend to update my stories slowly...sorry. Too much other stuff going on, and with writer's block a constant problem, chapters don't appear as soon as I would like. Plus I work, and I'm a mom, so...yeah. But rest assured, I'm not going to post a chapter until I'm absolutely sure it's worthy to be read. So bear with me!

The Red Bear and the Blue Lady - I've been in love with Game of Thrones for so long, and I've already completed the first book with plans to finish out the series. Had never written a fic about them. But the 4th episode in season 6 changed my mind. I wholeheartedly ship Tormund Giantsbane with Brienne of Tarth, and I hope to have them succeed in being together on the show. It inspired me to write this fic, and with all the support and input I got in response, I decided to continue it! Enjoy!!!

I have seen that the gods here on FF. net will straight up DELETE YOUR WHOLE ACCOUNT, reviews and all, if they feel like you aren't following their rules. You know, that you can't write sex (OMG, not sex!) in your stories, because people who are mostly ADULTS may VOLUNTARILY choose to read it.

I had changed my fic, particularly Comfort and Possession, so that there was no sex in it. I just changed it back. If you come to my page or works and find no sign of me, head over to Archive of Our Own or Deviant Art. I'll be there waiting for ya!

CENSORSHIP SUCKS!!

One of my absolute favorite authors in the Dragon Age universe, Hatsepsut, who had LOTS of stories and HUNDREDS of precious reviews, was deleted without warning or anything. I call foul, and I will definitely be copying all my reviews and putting up my works on both Deviant Art AND Archive, so that they aren't lost forever. I think it was all done wrongly and in bad taste.

Long story short, if my work disappears, you can find me on DA or Archive. I will no longer fuck with this site, and will discourage other authors from doing so, if they do me like that.

So much for UNLEASHING your imagination! Censorship sort of contradicts that, don't you think?

Mercy Thompson Series - I love Patricia Briggs' novels, and the characters are easy to connect and fall in love with. This is what I've written so far:

The Announcement - I wanted to imagine how Mercy Thompson would tell her mate, Adam Hauptman, that they were finally having a baby. I wrote what came to mind.

Lone Wolf - I am loving Ben more and more, and so I came up with this story between him and my OC, Michelle. I hope you guys will like it. Mercy and the gang will all be there, so no worries. There are way too many loveable characters to leave them hanging. Enjoy!

UPDATE 12/10/14: I have had several messages about people wanting me to update. Wanted to let you know my class is almost over, so updates will be coming soon!!! I take my final next week, and will be able to devote more brain muscle to my story soon. Wish me luck!

Samuel's Solace - An A/U oneshot about the comfort old friends can offer each other after a traumatic encounter with say, a demon-ridden vampire who's also a sorcerer. Yeah...I think I'd need some loving after that too.

Dragon Age 2:

Reunion - Dragon Age 2; I've been meaning to write a story for some time now, so this is my first. It's just a fluffy/smutty oneshot to start, but I hope to do more later.

Dragon Age Inquisition:

Riding the Bull - Basically some oneshots that came to me as I was playing the game for the first time (103 hours). Does have sexual content, so if anyone is bothered by that, please just DON'T READ. Thanks!

The Priestess and the Arishok - A short story about Garesh Adaar's parents, how they met, and how they left the Qun to pave the way for the Inquisition. It's as much an adventure for me as it will be for my readers.

The Red Bear and the Blue Lady - I've always wanted to write a fic or two (or more) for Game of Thrones. That show sucks you in, rips out your guts, and spits you out...and we just keep coming back for more. This Tormund x Brienne fic was sparked when I saw the interaction during season 6. How could I not ship them! They're PERFECT for each other!

Sooner or Later - A Hunter x Hunter oneshot regarding Hisoka and Machi. Machi finally catches up to Hisoka after he wastes Chrollo. She gave him a promise, and she intends to keep it. But the tables are turned on the spider, in ways that she wasn't expecting.

Updates are sporadic, but they will happen. I love writing!
