![]() Author has written 27 stories for Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Rurouni Kenshin, and Lord of the Rings. I'm currently working on Hobbit/Lord of the Rings stories: -- Finishing my Aragorn/OC short story, Melltithio, which loosely incorporates some Camelot/Avalon lore into Aragorn's journey to the Gondorian throne. AU obviously, as for the purposes of this story, Arwen sailed to the Undying Lands with her mother, so she never met Aragorn. ;) This short story is a stand-alone, and not part of the Lost to the Ages 'verse. -- Continuing A Bard's Tale, a Legolas/OC story that's a spin-off from LTTA, featuring a modern woman from Texas. Kind of. It's set during and beyond LOTR events. Overused idea, I'll grant you, but hopefully Laurelin is at least entertaining and a little different to the usual GDIME. --Continuing Lost to the Ages pairing Thranduil with my OC, Elizabeth Seymour. I'm currently working on the next chapter, (but it's slow going while Legolas demands I write his tale). I believe LTTA will likely carry on past LOTR events up to and through Aragorn's rule. --Finishing up Elemental, and giving Haldir and Ahrhî their long-awaited ending, after 8 years. After having Haldir and Ahrhî in my head for so long, I'm going to be sad to give them up, but it's definitely time. Okay, actually, it's not time yet, but it will be after I catch Lost to the Ages timeline up to Elemental and find a little uninterrupted time to write the last 2 chapters. Annnnnndddddd...I replayed one of my favorite video games, Dragon Age 2, and now I'm writing a Fenris/FemHawke AU story too, called Until I Wake, exploring Tevinter, slavery and lots of other fun stuff from BioWare's amazing world they created. :D So many elves to write about, so little time... A little about me: My original foray into fanfiction happened for the same reason as so many of us, I think...I wanted to know what ELSE might happen if characters I loved ended up in the imagination of someone other than the original writer. I started trying to write tales of my own because I wanted to see specific things happen, and couldn't always find an exact story for what I was craving. I guess I really started writing for mostly selfish reasons, but I began posting because I love to share, and the possibility that there were other people out in the world who might like the kind of stories I wrote. If even a handful of readers receive enjoyment and a temporary escape from the drudgery and monotony of everyday life by reading my scribbles, then I think it's well worth the time and effort it takes to research and write my stories. Favorite Quote: The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls. ~Pablo Picasso A few specifics: I'm a woman in my 40's, married to my soulmate; mother, reader, traveler, adventurer. Above all, I'm an incurable romantic and believer in absolute passion in relationships, so that's essentially what I write. I sincerely hope you enjoy what you read. :) ~o~ Many thanks to everyone who has ever favorited, alerted or left reviews on any of my stories across the various fandoms I've written in. I appreciate it so much. ~o~ You can find me on AO3 under the same username as here, and almost all my stories are posted there now, with the exception of Twisted and Precognition, since they are still incomplete. |
