Author has written 15 stories for Labyrinth, Crusade, Doctor Who, Young Wizards, Repo! The Genetic Opera, Alice in Wonderland, 2010, Covert Affairs, and Discworld. First, the rundown of where else you can find me: I archive my fic under the same name at AO3, against future squirrelyness. You can also find my writing over on forestsofthenight (dot) dreamwidth (dot) org, where I plan to post some of my original work in addition to my fanfic. Occasionally you can find my writing about writing there, which mostly consists of me casting my editorial eye over the internet at large. Stories posted with bonus content on Dreamwidth (generally a little background on what inspired me or my personal soundtrack for a given story) will have an author's note directing you that way if you're interested in such things. If you are for some reason interested in my less directed ramblings, there's a link in forestofthenight's profile to my personal journal, allstrangewonders. Every time you read one of my Crusade stories, a fangirl gets her squee. (That would be me, by the way, jumping up and down and giggling with joy because I'm not the only Crusade fan left on Earth.) Every time you read my Susan/Teatime stories, I do a little happy dance. (I know I'm not the only Susan/Teatime shipper, but the crew of the Good Ship Death'n'Doom is pretty small. Every reader is worth a happy dance.) I'm (finally) graduating in May, so I'm swiftly running out of excuses for being so slow to finish things. However, I still have my thesis to hide behind until the end of April. After that I'll just have to admit that I have terrible writing habits. I am trying to finish up as much as I can, at my glacial place, and trying to limit new stories to oneshots so I don't feel bad about leaving you guys dangling. I have resolved to not post stories until they are either done or the next thing to it, so there should at least be fewer half-finished stories floating around here for years at a time. Thanks to all of you who keep hoping I'll post more (in spite of my somewhat unique definition of "soon")! What else should you know about me? Hmm… I am me. I am I believe that while cynicism might be more realistic, hope is better for you, and that love is the most human and humane thing we as a species have going for us. You'll probably see that crop up as a theme from time to time. |
