Author has written 4 stories for Dragon Ball Z, and Harry Potter. Update: 12/8/03 Forgot to put a disclaimer on A wolf in the Serpent's Den- Here it is- Disclaimer: I don not own Harry Bloody Potter, that is Rowling's property and currently I don't want to own hjer fifth book. WE will always remember you, Padfoot. I'm in denial- you're not actually dead. Update: 11/20/03 Oi! Hi again! Well, I know I haven't updated any of my stories recently, but you can blame that on my muses. And yes, I now have two instead of one... drum roll introducing... Circe! My new character of my new story... " A wolf in the serpent's den... You are more than allowed to get angry at her for my pause in DBZ fanfics.. she is my Harry Potter muse. Gyouza seems to be on a vacation in my mind... though, did anyone see the new DBGT episodes? On toonami? I am a little weary of them... I like the japanese verion better. Circe: glares enough with the anime... come over to the dark side.. Me: glares back she doesn't like anime too much... my brain has been split into two spheres... anime and HP. I'm becoming more and more obsessed with HP, ecspecially Severitus challenge fanfictions... they're great. Anyone notice the countless puns and analyzation in the HP books... I have just noticed and am heavily excited. LOL... never tickle a sleeping dragon... Circe: rolls her eyes please send your attention over here... this nitwit of an author... Me: I resent that... you're basically insulting yourself Circe: is highly amused. And after finding a fellow obsesor of HP has been on the brink of insanity... not clear in where fantasy and reality lie... and howthin that line really is. Me: Argh... can anyone tell if she's a Slytherin... sticks tongue out nasty morbid sense of humor... glares at the laughing Circe Looks like her name fits her perfectly, ne? Gyouza: restrained by other muses and what-nots in this author's mind Let me at the horrible excuse for a muse. Pshh... not even sticking up for her author. shakes a fist at HP books Go back to the anime world. Me: sighs it seems I must stop this arguement before it becomes out of hand and those of you waiting for another addition to Living Lies and Prince of Shadows they should be coming soon. Oh and anyone interseted in beta-reading please e-mail me. Anyone who knows anything about Cockney accents I beg you to help me. Good day mates sprints towards her two muses who have each other's throats Hopefully we shall be back. Update: 8/14/03 Two days till my Birthday and I'll be 15! Yay! WoW! I'm actually going to update this thing and my wonderful muse Gyouza will help by intruducing us. Gyouza... looks around the stage Gyouza... Goal: To meet my mentor and the class. Activities: Today I met my mentor, Mrs. Jerger, and her class. We read a book called Learnings: I learned how to deal with emotional situations with children. I also learned I thought that this news article “More Profit with Less Carbon” was very idealistic. Dr. Lovins, the author of this article, kept repeating that in 2050 if the government was to take the right choice and convert to renewable energy sources, then the rest of society will follow. But, firstly, I do not think that our government’s top priority is the environment.. Our government is more concerned with spreading democracy and capitalism than worrying about the environment and the amount of carbon we are pumping into the atmosphere. Lovins’ states that utilizing renewable resources would in the long run be cheaper than using fossil fuels such as coal and oil as our main source of energy, but these resources are costly in the beginning. Another point to take into account is the fact that even if we are to start putting more hybrid models and new “lighter-but-stronger” cars on the market there will still be old cars on the roads that use fossil fuels. We will still need to keep refineries and oil fields and petroleum plants because oil will still be in demand. Another aspect to take into account is the idea of Supply and Demand. At this current time the demand for oil is increasing every day and the supply is slowly running out, but until we do eventually run out of oil most people will not take action in implementing these new ideas. As stated before if fossil fuels are still available than America and the rest of the world will buy these energy sources and until we run out society will not think of finding and utilizing other resources. Most people feel that if it does not affect them now, than it never will. That is why I feel that Lovin’s article is to idealistic to actually come into effect at least at the dates he predicts. Until we absolutely need to start finding new resources America and others are fine with using fossil fuels as resources even though they are destroying our environment, rising in costs, and running out. |
