![]() Author has written 4 stories for Mighty Ducks, and Lord of the Rings. Hello Everyone, At the beginning of '09 I created an account not knowing whether or not I would even write any stories. I did go on to post a couple of stories, but recent years I've been really slack, and I'm trying to get back into it. I really like to write and I think Fanfic is a good place to learn new skills, and vent ideas and emotion. There are some excellent (and then again, some not so good) movies and books which drive me to the most imaginative sorts of daydreams and stories, and hopefully one day I'll be able to share them with the world. Love Always, LadyConfidential P.S - I'm really haphazard/forgetful when it comes to favouriting stories/authors. Please don't take it personally. Concerning My Writing Style: - My chapters are short, it's true. I know some people prefer reading long chapters (myself included) but as of yet I'm unsure if I can master writing longer ones. I will attempt to do so. - I prefer not to use (much) crude language. I am not a prude, but sometimes you're reading a really great fic, and then a couple of uncouth words are introduced which can can slightly lessen the appeal. As for swearing, I may swear in reality, and it can be seen in my Mighty Ducks stories due to the more modern nature of those works, but in others I try to refrain. - I'm not brilliant but I try. My punctuation and sentence structure are generally alright, and any spelling mistakes are the fault of my typing (I can't exactly type, so I'm prone to pressing the wrong keys). I do realise there are some errors in my work - they'll be fixed eventually. - I will always answer your reviews as I cherish each and every one of them. It's a dangerous business going out your front door. J. R. R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same. Emily Bronte, Wuthering Heights I am no bird; and no net ensnares me; I am a free human being with an independent will . . . Charlotte Bronte, Jane Eyre Death is more universal than life; everyone dies but not everyone lives. A. Sachs A single death is a tragedy; a million deaths is a statistic. Joseph Stalin UPDATE: 15th March 2011 - Yes, a long break, but maybe I'll post something soon enough. I can understand any frustration you may have with me, my vagueness is rather pathetic. September, October and November were rather busy months, and then December, January and February were leisurely. My summer was spent pondering my life thus far and the direction it was taking. I was caught in some kind of timeless, dateless spell in which I felt removed from recent past and near future. Now I have been thrust back into the delightful turmoil of reality, perhaps I may find inspiration enough to write again. 16th June 2013 - *Empty Promises Here* 1st July 2013 - New chapter posted! Let's hope I can upload some more soon. 17th March 2018 - Just posted a new chapter. Don't worry, I'm as shocked as you are. Character Photos: Mighty Ducks: Nadia Howe; Yvonne Bradley; Sophie Thatcher (but lots more smiles); Audrey Davis; Jessica Miller; Tiffany Ruthven; Sally Thompson; Joel Fitzgibbon; Danni Porter LotR: I have considered finding photos, but for fantasy, I think imagination is the greatest tool. Strories to be written: A Manipulative Affair - To be written God knows when. It's a Connie/Rick story. I know it's been done before but hopefully not quite the way I'm planning it. Unfaithful partners lead to secretive and somewhat sinful meetings between the two, both of whom seem to harbour hidden agendas...or something like that. Need to give it some more thought. Another Arwen story, or one with Haldir, I think, but that is somewhere in the future, and not worth really worrying about as I already have two stories on my plate. Hmm, wait - Arwen/Haldir! - there's not much of that around, oh that sounds fun...no, focus, you already have two stories! Something to think about then... |
